I felt comfortable with the guy. Some companies would take advantage of the lack of your knowledge of construction issues and upsell you. Scarfo is not one. They were professional and helpful. I am happy we decided to go with Scarfo Construction & Roofing. What got me mesmerized was the fact that they are very transparent and very professional. The process was hitch-free without any hiccups, but they were cleared in a very timely manner and the work was done very quickly.

I had a really good experience using Scarf Construction & Roofing. Joe and the other guys did amazing work. The fear of hiring a contractor especially when you have small children is finding nails and other harmful objects on the floor. Joe ensured the environment was clean and tidy after they’d completed the work. I would recommend them to my friends and family! I was treated very well, and I'm happy with my new bathroom.

I did in-depth research when picking a company to go with, and really made the best choice. Scarfo Construction & Roofing really know their onion, their work was neat and fast, they made no mistakes and ensure tidiness after work, and they quickly install any exposed valley. Overall our experience was awesome, and beyond what we had hoped for.

We lived in Florida and hired this company in May of 2021 to repair the foundation of our house in Newberry; after seeing pictures of the completed work, we then hired them for a variety of other services including mold remediation of the crawl space and installing a vapor barrier; installation of an exterior door; removing/replacing a flat roof on the house with metal roofing; installation of new plumbing throughout; sealing off the soffits in the attic; installing a perimeter chain link fence. We paid them immediately on request, after sending us pictures of "completed work". When we moved from Florida to this home in Newberry in April 2022, and saw, first-hand, the work that was completed we were highly disappointed. To name a few of the problems, we experienced faulty plumbing that burst the first night we arrived, to poor workmanship throughout and second-hand materials used (when we paid for new), a back door that was poorly installed, damage to AC duct work under the house, and extensive roof leaking from the new metal roof. We attempted to contact Scarfo and, other than the first night when they came to fix the plumbing that had burst in the wall, due to a loose fitting that blew when we turned on the water, they have failed to respond or offer to make necessary repairs or finish work they were paid for. They have continuously avoided all our calls and texts. In addition to the time and materials we have expended to personally repair/reinstall items that we paid them to do -- and for services they never did but got paid for -- with the exception of the fence and the block foundation work, we have had to hire professionals to complete and/or repair the work they performed. We do not recommend using this company.

I am very pleased with the work done on my house. Joe and Nick did an exceptional job. They are professional and honest and committed to providing excellent service. I would highly recommend this company!!!

Came right out measured my roof gave me an estimate ON THE SPOT came to an agreement gave him a deposit roof done! Great experience definitely recommend these young men! Looking for more for them to do.

Joe and his crew are very good at what they do. They did some roof work for me and the job quality was great. I will be contacting them again if needed for any other repairs. They do everything except HVAC. I highly recommend the crew to everyone, commercial or Residential.

I was given a written quote by them and they wouldn’t honor it, I even offered to pay 100% of the materials, not only did they not honor it they tripled it

Great people. Always go above and beyond and soon gonna hook them up with my mom and dad for some inside work there. Love this company and you can't go wrong with Scarfo.
