Just finished my scalp micropigmentation one on one private training in Birmingham with the exceptionally talented Mark Fitzgibbons. Prior to the SMP course, Mark sent me a training manual to complete and it was invaluable and It meant I hit the ground running when I was there in person. The training manual was comprehensive to say the least and it covered all aspects of the business (even down to running social media campaigns and where he purchases his supplies) there really isn't anything he hasn't thought of to make sure his trainees have all the tools and they need to succeed. The one on one training was intensive but thoroughly rewarding. Mark is a complete perfectionist and will work with you on the hair tattoo until your standard of work is one par with his (this is no easy task but you get there with his help) overall, Mark is a nice fella and very easy to get on with and I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone with an interest. It was a bit of a trek from Ireland to Birmingham, but worth it.

Mark has just finished my final session and I can honestly say it is the best thing I've ever had done! My hair is thinning all over so have bald patches everywhere; now after scalp micro pigmentation my hair has more density, giving the illusion of a full head of hair! Mark is a really lovely guy who is very skilled in his work. He makes you feel at ease and listens to your concerns. I know that now I'll be a new confident woman who won't have to hide under a hat!

I trained with Mark at Scalp Doctor for SMP training, as a complete beginner to the industry. The training spanned over the course of around 4 days. I found the training to be thorough and hands on. Mark is a great teacher who was able to answer all my questions and give a good amount of theory along side the practical. Before, during & after Mark has provided on going support. During the training I completed two real models, which were provided as part of the training. Although initially quite a daunting prospect, this was a really great way to cement the practice of the previous days. Mark supplies all the equipment as well as some helpful tips on insurance, sharps disposal & equipment lists etc. I am very pleased I chose to train with Scalp Doctor and I can highly recommend them if you’re looking for a friendly, high quality start to your SMP journey.
