At first, I had great experiences with Dr. Becker. I had a mountain of backlogged, much needed dental work and his team help me set up a financing plan and the work and care was great… Then I had a very odd and scary experience with him. On my second to last visit, while I was in the chair, tools in my mouth he asked if I would be willing to help him out by volunteering to undergo general anesthesia for my next visit, which was going to be one last filling. He told me he needed to re-up his general anesthesia certification and if I went under on that last visit, he’d give me the last filling for free. I agreed, mainly because I am a chronic people pleaser (something I am working on with a therapist). After that last filling, my tooth felt hollow and very odd. Then, after eating some nuts shortly thereafter, the supposed filling failed and fell out of my mouth. But what came out of my tooth was not a filling at all. I do not know what he put in my head, but it frightened me and I no longer trust him. I would not recommend him due to this experience and I would caution against undergoing general anesthesia under his control.
