Highly recommended for all ages
I can highly recommend this experience for anyone. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The track is over flat ground and the walking pace is slow so this tour is suitable for all ages. The whole family enjoyed it immensely and are still talking about it days after
What a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend to try something different with the family.

Thanks so much Vic, We are glad you enjoyed the tour! It was a pleasure to showcase our local nature reserve! All the best, Sebastian
We had 2 most wonderful tours with Jamie and Base: Nocturnal Walk and Star Gazing Night. Both of them were way better than we could even imagine. The beauty of the places chosen by Base and Jamie for their tours, the knowledge they share, the passion, the organization, the muffins and brownies, the humour, the stories, the list can go on and on, were all up to the highest standards and beyond. Our two 15 y.olds loved the experience enormously. For the Nocturnal walk we had my sister who is over 60 y.o. and my husband with bad knees and we all had no problem walking the distance and didn't even noticed it because we were so engaged with the stories about everything around us: trees, bushes, possums, birds, nuts, spiders, stars, Quendas and more. Their knowledge of the night sky is unparalleled. We highly recommend anyone young and old to do yourself a favour and take a tour or two, or three with these guys. They are incredible. We can't wait for our next tours with them. Thank you so much guys, you are crazy good and lovely. Keep it up.
A whole new world of magic...

Fabulous long weekend at Mandurah. We did a half day kayaking tour as a family of four. Absolutely stunning view. We also did a Nocturnal Wildlife Tour on that same night. Base and Jamie worked so well together ensuring that we have a fantastic time. They both are so knowledgeable about all things nature, wildflowers, birds, wildlife, nocturnal, stars, you name it. They are so passionate with the environment and nature and they have so many stories to share. Highly recommend ANY tours run by Base and Jamie at Salt and Bush Eco Tours. They are on time, organized well equipped and very thoughtful. The tours are very educational and definitely well worth the experience. Thank you Base and Jamie for your hospitality. Our two teenagers thoroughly enjoyed both tours. We are hoping to go back and do the sailing tours next time. The picture is taken by Jamie using a drone overlooking the Serpentine river on our kayaking tour. Two thumbs up !!!

Do yourself a favour and book one of these tours.
Jamie and Sebastian are both friendly, accommodating and have a wealth knowledge to share. I learnt so much about the native wildlife, local aboriginal history and just how incredibly important our Mandurah wetlands are.
Cannot wait to book my next day out with Salt & Bush Eco Tours. I enjoyed every second of the guided kayaks through serpentine river.
Thank you again for such a fantastic morning ☀️you guys are doing wonderful things for our environment, love it!
Highly recommended sailing kayak tour
Excellent tour on a sailing kayak through the Mandurah estuary. We saw Swans, Pelicans, Ospreys and got right up alongside some Dolphins!!! We even had a little picnic at a private beach along the way. Jamie was super knowledgeable and passionate about the flora and fauna of the area. Highly recommended!
Weekend getaway to Mandurah and we booked on the Guided Kayak tour with Salt and Bush tours.
Fantastic time on the Serpentine River, spotting different birds, trees and the ecosystem around this area. Very peaceful way to spend a Sunday morning, gliding up the river, embracing the joy of nature.
Base and Jamie – fantastic tour guides, super friendly and a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
We can highly recommend this tour and this company.
We will be back to do another one, on our next trip to Mandurah.
Thanks Michelle and Nick
A Valentine’s Day with a difference, Monday we enjoyed a serene guided tour with Jamie from Salt and Bush Eco tours on the Serpentine River. Jamie was so knowledgeable and shared her passion and history of the beautiful waterway and all those that habitate it. Highly recommend this tour and can’t wait to do our next one ❤️🐬🦅🦆🦀🪶🛶
Amazing, relaxing, tranquil tour with a friendly guide
We had a lovely morning touring the Mandurah inlets with Salt & BushI'm a bit nervous around deep water but they made me feel very safe and supported.Their knowledge on the wildlife in the area was amazing, the certainly know their stuff. The 3 hours flew by and we loved every minute. We highly recommend their tours.
Wonderful experience, perfect organisation
This tour is a calm and quiet way of travelling on a peaceful river section. Peddaling the kayaks we come up close to magnificent birdlife, while learning interesting historic facts and insights about the local area. Sebastian and Jamie are both very knowledgeable, patient, well organised, and clearly love and respect the environment in which they work. Thank you very much for a very enjoyable and relaxing few hours. Eva, Joe and Christopher
Awesome bird-watching and peaceful paddle along the river. Fabulous!
What an awesome way to spend a Sunday morning! We met Jamie and Sebastian at the river’s edge where they set up a tandem peddle kayak for us and showed us how to use it. Binoculars were included. Sebastian took us along the estuary pointing out the birds, explaining their habits and conservation. Both Guides were incredibly knowledgeable. We saw A huge flock of Pelicans cooperatively fishing, as well as Ospreys, kites and a spoonbill and its chick amongst other things. We stopped for tea along the river, and then paddled further. At the end they drove us back to our cars. I’d highly recommend this tour if you’re a bird lover. The paddling was not strenuous and very enjoyable.
Fantastic tour
This tour was so well arranged and organised. The information that was share was a incredible, with so many insight into the area. The equipment was in great working order and they gave us great instruction on how to us the Kayak. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area or even someone in the area who have not seen the area before. Thank you so much for a great morning tour. Troy & Amanda
We recently did a wild flower 1/2 day tour. Jamie our guide was fantastic. She is very experienced and knowledgeable of all the plants and the local area just south of Mandurah. Refreshments and scrumptious cakes were provided. We learn't some new things and what to look out for on our future walks. One highlight was seeing an Osprey purched up high near one of the inlets 😎
