The want to take your ID in deposit out of your controle
Ze wilden graag mijn ID hebben. Ik zou de ID pas terugkrijgen als ik de kayaks weer inleverde. Ivm identiteitsfraude is het in Nederland niet toegestaan om je ID aan vreemden te geven. Hier hadden ze geen begrip voor, want in Italie is iedereen te vertrouwen volgens de eigenaresse ( vindt de maffia vast ook). Ik bood mijn telefoon en autosleutels aan. Dat weigerde ze. Zwemvesten waren erg oud en versleten. Voor de rest niks speciaals. Vervelende ervaring.
Superb kayaking experience
Wanted to rent a kayak for a couple of hours to explore Lake Garda, it was super easy they have both an online booking form but also you can just ring up. Gave excellent advice and good parking, toilets, changing rooms etc on site. Would definitely recommend to all!
Very professional and child friendly sailing lessons
Our two 9+11 year old boys had 12 hours in total of beginner sailing lessons. We were able to split these flexibly over 4 days. Both boys had a great time, made very good progress and left excited to return next year for more lessons thanks to their experienced instructor John and the entire friendly team around Alison. As parents we also appreciated the beautiful setting in the local yacht club over a nice coffee and food.

sito con pubblicità creduta ingannevole. Indicano che noleggiano derive e catamarani ma quando cerchi di prenotarle ti impongono un corso dal costo esorbitante. Ora se il Lago di Garda è in Italia per la navigazione sul lago valgono le norme di Legge della Repubblica Italiana. Io ho patente nautica vela e motore senza limiti dalla costa, esperienza di oltre 40 anni sia di altura che su derive e costoro mi chiedono 410 euro per un corso finalizzato a noleggiare una piccola deriva che sul sito invece pubblicizzano a 40 euro l'ora. In Italia questo tipo di barchette si guidano senza patente a 14 anni, giusto accertarsi che chi noleggia non sia un incapace e quindi si possa fare del male anche seriamente ma imporre il corso obbligatorio (ed inutile) sembra più una politica commerciale creduta scorretta che una norma di buon senso. Inoltre ovviamente il loro "patentito" dubito abbia un qualsiasi valore giuridico non avendone trovata traccia presso il Ministero dei Trasporti Italiano. Nulla di male a vendere corsi tutti devono mangiare dopotutto ma non fate perdere tempo alla gente e non dite che noleggiate le barche se poi non lo fate e volete solo vendere corsi.
Family kayaking fun day!
My husband and friends went kayaking in 2014 on the morning of the wedding.
We decided to give it a go! (I’ve not kayaked before).
We called in the morning and booked for 4 single kayaks.
On arrival Charles was brilliant, he gave my husband the details of the best place to park (it was a sailing day so the car park was full).
We completed the paperwork and stored our belongings.
we were ready!
We went on the lake and had a brilliant time. The lake was fresh! We gave each other goals.
Overall, brilliant family outing.

The best place to learn a new watersport skill...
I've just completed a 2 day beginner sailing course with Europa and I genuinely cannot say enough good things about the people there and the service they provide.
From my first contact with Alison I felt welcome and cared for. I spent 2 full days with John on the lake who has the perfect balance of deep knowledge and patience (along with just being good company) for someone like me who was approaching a new experience like this... I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm on the hook now.
If you are thinking about learning a new watersport skill while on Lake Garda... Don't think about it just book with these guys.

Brilliant wind surfing taster
My girlfriend and I booked a two hour wind surfing taster session, our instructor David was fantastic. Neither of us had any wind surfing experience but he had us in the water and surfing in no time. Looking at their set up for other water sports I would highly recommend whatever your interests or experience level.
Great fun/ Great prices
We rented a double kayak for an hour and really enjoyed ourselves. The owners Charles and Allison were very friendly and accommodating. Great little place in a beautiful area of Lago de Garda.

We spent 2 weeks in Navene, just a short walk from the sailing facilities. John and the team were fantastic, very friendly and helpful.
We sailed many times during our visit and loved every minute of it. Would definitely recommend to anyone else.

Awesome Sailing School
We spent 2 weeks in Malcesine, a location chosen after reading reviews for Europa. We initially booked 2 days of lesson in windsurfing (beginner) and sailing (intermediate) for my son and daughter. Alison was so friendly and helpful and the individual lessons for my kids allowed them to progress at their own pace. Many of the staff speak English, German and Italian, and I even heard a little French. It didn't matter if you were a strong and fit 14yo or an arthritic 50-something, the teaching staff were equally enthusiastic. Later, we rented a couple of dinghy and they were tolerant of our lack of rigging knowledge. Lots of variety of kit, all in good condition. I cannot fault anything.
Best sail centre on the lake
Superb staff and exceptional services! We love to go up to the north of lake Garda whenever we can get away! I have done sailing courses with them for two years and cannot wait to come back to do more. My husband did windsurfing courses as well as rents their equipment and is always over the moon (as long as he is on the water!) You cannot beat the location and the view! The Centre even has parking, which is a serious luxury at the lake!

an incredible afternoon of sailing. the Europa Surf and Sail staff were brilliant. friendly, fun and loads of good advice. the equipment was top quality and the conditions unbelievably good! highlight of my holiday in the lake garda area.

Great sailing school and rental at an unique location
A unique advantage of Europa Surf and Sail is the location at the Yacht Club Malcesine bringing a lot of professional atmosphere and sailors of all levels and boats to this place. When not on the water, you can watch teams at their training. The ESS venue consists of several overseas containers which have been adapted to an office and storage compartement. Showers, toilets, restaurants etc. are to be found in the nearby Club . The material is well maintained. What I enjoyed the most is the team at ESS. Very professional and motivating, approachable and friendly. The prices, especially for a two hours training sortie on the Catamaran, are very reasonable. In summary, I can highly recommend ESS and for sure I'll come back again.
Brilliant sailing school, definitely recommend
We loved learning to sail here. Charles and co are a delight to deal with. David taught us for our level 2 dinghy sailing, we had a lot of fun, learnt a lot and were taught additional items which really made the course for us. Great selection of boats and very supportive of new sailors. Can't wait to go back, I would definitely recommend learning and hiring from these guys.

Highlight of the year
This is my fourth time sailing with these fantastic people. Nothing is ever any trouble. Always looked after 100%. Professional and friendly what more can you wish for from an amazing sailing centre. Just booked my accommodation for next year, counting down the days when I am back sailing on Lake Garda.

Lovely people and amazing fun!
We showed up without a reservation because my husband said that he was tired of looking at the lake and wanted to "get on the water". Luckily, we had a car and drove from Malcesine and discovered this place. It has everything that you could possibly want for having fun on the water. We met Marco at the front desk and told him that we had no reservations, asking what he had available. He managed to get us paddle boards for an hour and then a sailing dingy for two hours after that. While rigging up the dingy, we met John, whose knowledge of sailing is extensive. He normally does private lessons, and, lucky for us, he had a free hour, so we booked for him to come out with us for the first hour. My husband has sailed before and knew the basics, but we learned so much from John. It made the experience so much better. At the end of our adventure, I went to pay and their credit card machine was down. I didn't have cash on me, but offered to go back to Malcesine and get it from the ATM and bring it back. Charles and Allison, who own the place, absolutely refused to let me go to all of this trouble. Allison simply told me to do a paypal payment to their account when I had internet at my hotel that night. I mean, who does that? Such lovely, lovely people. I highly reccomend this place. In fact, I am thinking about taking a week's holiday here and bringing our 12 year old son for lessons.
