☺ We had a really nice cottage located near the water, that was frequently visited by hippo's. Cosy restaurant, good food. Very friendly staff who really were willing to go the extra mile. We got daily breakfast packages to take away to the Kruger. Before check-out our car was cleaned without our knowledge, which was really great. Paul Kruger gate is a 20 minutes drive away from the lodge, easy accessible by safe road.
☹ The only thing is that our cottage could need an update. The living room was cosy with enough comfy seats. However the beds were really short and the floor of our bathroom sloped in the wrong direction so that it became a waterballet after each shower. At the same time, we paid a fair price so I would say it is still good value for money. Location is good and the service excellent.

☺ Beautiful property right on the Sabie River. We loved sitting at the top deck of the restaurant watching the hippos and kingfishers!

Prachtig uitzicht van de accommodatie
☺Het prachtige uitzicht op de rivier en het Krugerpark. Goed ontbijt en diner. Vriendelijk personeel. Niet ver naar de Paul Krugergate.
☹Het tweepersoonsbed was erg hard.
Een klein koelkastje zou handig zijn.

Another enjoyable stay
☺ Great location on the Sabie with fantastic views of the Sabie with the hippo, elephant and other wildlife. We enjoyed the dinners and drinks on the deck.

☺ The family chalet rooms & view and the friendly staff
☹ Property are run down , not a lot of detail to service (not drying the outside chairs after the rain ) or putting cushions out .
Quality of food not great (for example
Juice at breakfast was mix with water), (all 3 steaks was very tough ),
No attention to detail - no knife or cutting
board for cheese at breakfast Taking plates while still eating!

☺ It was our fifth year wedding anniversary, it was so special. We had a special dinner. The view, food and staff was great. Hippos , Elephants and Warthogs just roaming around. What an experience.

☺ We loved all the friendly and welcoming staff ,watching the hippos and kids enjoyed the chess game. It was also nice having our car washed each day. Staff were so accomodating adding a heater while we ate was extra special. The chocolate and key ring by each bed side was a nice touch. The garden area is beautiful and well kept. We also had a nice view from our room and eating area. I would definitely recommend and we will go back again.
☹ Everything was great, however I would recommend giving more kiddie friendly food ,possibly a kiddie menu or adding a extra option would be great for dessert.
We will definitely visit again.

Fijn verblijf aan de rivier
☺De ligging aan de rivier met hippos, olifanten !
☹De receptionist was niet zo behulpzaam, het overige personeel was uitstekend
De tenten waren fijn, gaf ons een Bush gevoel.
Het restaurant was prima , variatie genoeg.
Jammer dat de drukke weg dichtbij was, je kon het verkeer goed horen, maar …..dik tevreden!
