Very Happy with Ryan Ip Violin Studio. Ryan has been tutoring my son for over 5 years. I am absolutely delighted with the way he has fine-tuned and developed his talent! Ryan has proven to be patient, attentive and kind, but also, design lesson plans that caters to the pace at which my son learns.

Ryan is a great teacher! He accommodated more lessons for my daughter when she decided to audition for an art school. He helped her out when she was having challenges with music theory at school. He continuously encourages her with kind compliments. Even through the pandemic he kept his rate reasonable. We're glad we found Ryan!

Ryan is an amazing music teacher. He has been teaching my son playing the violin over the past year, helping him on auditions and entrance exams to universities. I appreciate his accommodating attitudes in fulfilling our personal needs and schedules…plus the makeup days.
Ryan does have high standards and provides my son a very well-rounded musical curriculum that suits his needs. My son did great in accomplishing the music program at school and received outstanding achievement in his string and repertoire group. He will be starting his Music Degree in university this fall and thanks in large part to the skills, work ethic and love of music that he gained from Ryan!

Ryan is seriously the best violin teacher! He's got all the qualities you could ask for, like patience, encouragement, and a firm hand when it's needed. He really takes the time to get to know each student and figure out how best to teach them. Plus, he doesn't just focus on playing the right notes, he helps his students really feel the music too! His annual concert showcases his students' progress and growth under his tutelage. It's so fun to see all the progress everyone has made! We are beyond lucky to have had Ryan as our kid's violin teacher for over a decade. His passion, dedication, and support have helped our child grow so much, not just as a musician, but also as a person. Ryan, we can't thank you enough for all the ways you've made our kid's life better!

Ryan is a great teacher that can cover all levels and all ages and is very passionate about teaching. As an adult student, he has been very flexible and accomodating with my busy schedule. He is able to catch things you may be struggling with and shows different ways to try and overcome it. He has a comfortable studio to work on-site but can also work online. From my personal experience, if you are a beginner or want to grow your skills to advanced, I would highly recommend him!
