I’ve been taking my suits to Roses to get altered for years (I’m short and proportionately between two sizes so can’t find suits off the rack that fit well), and Roses have always done a good job, but my most recent suit alteration by Naomi is by far their best work.

I was looking for someone to repair my expensive cashmere jumper which had gotten so threadbare in the elbow that I wasnt sure it could be done. I contacted Rose's Alterations, and I was assured it could be done, given an estimate then after photos given a quote. I cannot believe how my jumper now looks - like it is brand new from out of the box! So professional, quick service, great communication. I couldn't ask for better.

Yeah don't bother. Maybe other staff is nice but the old bag that helped me wanted to be paid $80 an hour and still gives me the run around to bring the materials so they can do the job.
It's like a plumber asking you to provide the glue for the pipes.
The problem is that nobody wants to work anymore. Sorry. For top dollar I expect top performance and that wasn't forthcoming so I walked out.

Ellie from Rose's bridal department altered my wedding dress for me, and put a beautiful satin edging around my veil. She did a super job, was very knowledgeable and professional and the dress fit perfectly. Highly recommend Rose's.
