I needed 4 wisdom teeth removed and have been anxious about it for years. I finally went in two weeks ago for a consultation and they had an appointment for this last Thursday to get the surgery done. The staff here made me feel at ease and Dr. Marion Harris was great during the consultation and what I remember of the surgery (basically saying hello getting an IV and waking up to it done) The instructions and guidance post op helped a lot. The only thing I wish I could change would be just not waiting for years and doing it sooner!
Beware of Dr. Raveena Shah at Rose Dental!
I had been a patient of Rose Dental for over 15 years, with no history of dental issues-not even a single filling-until my appointment with Dr. Shah. During that visit, she informed me of multiple cavities that needed immediate treatment. I was shocked given my dental history, but I trusted Rose Dental. I agreed to proceed with treating half of the teeth and scheduled a follow-up the next year so that I could enroll in a more expensive dental insurance plan to cover the cost of the next procedure.
After spending hundreds of dollars out of pocket and upgrading my coverage, I returned for my next appointment, but this time with a different dentist. I fully expected to complete the remaining fillings, but the new dentist stated that I had no cavities and my teeth were perfectly healthy.
I was, and still am, completely furious. Dr. Shah had not only misled me but had permanently damaged healthy teeth that I now must maintain for the rest of my life. I trusted Rose Dental, and Dr. Shah completely violated that trust. I can’t believe that I paid hundreds of dollars for her to essentially maim me.
If you visit Rose Dental, do not trust Dr. Shah-she will exaggerate the condition of your teeth. I am no longer a patient of Rose Dental and I’ve developed a deep distrust of dentists. Always seek a second opinion, especially if you're placed under Dr. Shah's care.
A big shout out to Dr. Earle! Almost 2 years ago I received my first lymph nodes in my life, it was under my left ear and my Jaw hurt. I first went to urgent care and they told me oh it’s a bacteria infection in your mouth, schedule an appointment with your dentist. I first went to Bridge View dental and I told them about my lymph node…. That was a mistake knowing most dentists just want you to pay more money and you will do anything to fix the problem. After hearing the price even with insurance and them saying I have bacteria practically all over my mouth. I left and came here, I didn’t tell them about the bacteria or Lymph Nodes, and they said I only had bacteria at the bottom of my mouth, the price was 3X cheaper with Insurance. I scheduled with them and they got all the bacteria out. My lymph node was gone 2 days later but I still felt a minor pain at the top of my Jaw line, it went on for 6 months and I got use to it since it was so minor.
My cleaning comes up and Dr.Earle says I have Cavities. So I schedule to get that done. Right away when I went home about an hour after my appointment, my Jaw line finally stopped hurting after almost 2 years!!!! After all that, it was Just a cavity on my bottom left side of my mouth. I never once thought it was just a cavity! Even noticed my Jaw line was a little swollen on the left side when the pain went away. If I stayed at Bridge view dental after paying 3 times as much I would still have some pain till this day.

Ann was pleasant , considerate and knowledgeable. She made me very comfortable during the whole procedure with Dr. Earle.

We reached out to our dental insurance provider, whom gave us the name and contact details for Rose dental, noting that they are part of the Discount Dental Network. Our insurance company sent us the fee schedule and the amounts agreed upon by Rose Dental for the removal of 4 wisdom teeth. We NEVER would have selected Rose Dental and drive 50 minutes one way if they were not "in network". The day of the surgery, the front office verified our co-pay. We paid our half. Nothing was said that they are no longer in network or that they do not accept the discounted fee schedule agreed upon by Care Connect. The surgery was performed on 5 Dec 2024.
We received a bill for the full amount, with the office now stating that they do not accept or acknowledge any patients from the Discounted Fee Schedule and that the amount outstanding is the true amount. I am unemployed at the moment. They did not even try to work anything out with me and has taken zero responsibility for their own oversight with this matter. The office staff is rude. Spare yourself the misery and do not go to Rose Dental group. You will pay the exact same amount as a cash paying patient than the gold standard office of Austin Oral Surgery.
Update: 4/1/2025: The office and regional manager communicated with us until this was resolved. They did the right thing by us and for this we are very grateful. We can now give them a 5/5 review!

This office is on the 2nd floor and it's difficult for handicapped people. Way too much walking. That said, once I got to the office everyone was incredibly kind and professional. Everyone introduced themselves and told me what they were doing when they entered the treatment room which is important to me. My experience here was great considering that this was the dentist.
