Dear Beryl, thank you for your comments even if I think they are wrong and misleading. Let me explain. 1) we are a self-catering accommodation that is located in plain nature in the middle of a National Park. Maybe you were expecting a reception desk, but we are not a hotel. We do work a lot and have 3 kids so we normally meet our guests at weekends. However, we have drafted a very detailed explanation guide that have worked perfectly for the last 10 years. But yes, we ask our guest to read it before they come so they know how to arrive and, for instance, turn the boiler on. As you very well mentioned it in your comments, if our guests need any advice or need anything during their stay, we act promptly. 2) it is not true we only accept cash. In fact, you should have paid prior to your arrival by bank transfer but you refuse it to do it. We trusted you and you stayed with us without paying until the very last day. We had to arrange a meeting with you to collect the money. This is not the proper way of doing things. 3) We are glad you liked the place and the nature surrounding it. Our guests love our place because they are in plane nature but with full comfort. If you look at other guests comments you will notice they rank us between 9 and 10 (as way of example, please see the comment left by Stephan - ranking our place with a 10 -just a day after yours). Und ich bedaure auch, Sie nicht kennen lernen zu können, aber nach einem Aufenthalt von nur 5 Tagen haben mich meine Arbeit und meine familiären Verpflichtungen daran gehindert.
