Smiling all day even though we were waiting around for hours! A massive thank you to the team and Chris for organising at a short notice all carried out in a very professional manner! Really great service from these guys. They got it all done quickly with terrible parking limitations and some bulky furniture in narrow spaces. Very friendly and professional will definitely hire them again.

I was recommended to use EHR for my Mum's move from Essex to Fife. Communication was excellent as was attention to detail. Like every move, you wait for the date, Chris and team were able to accommodate at short notice. Chris came the day before the move to make sure we were ready & asked if we had any further questions. This was something I had never experienced & again was another attention to detail. Moving day came, the team were all very polite, funny and nothing was any trouble, the move was stress free. Great service all round from the team. The packing was done prior to move day, and was dealt with really professionally, swift and tidy. Move day went smoothly with a 4 man team turning up getting the vans loaded and off to our new home. Unloading the van went just as well and the guys sorted the furniture and boxes into the right rooms making things so much easier for us. Would highly recommend the team.

I was distraught at having to move out of my flat in April after being issued a Section 21 Notice. Even worse, I had to cancel my original removals company after they let me down badly. I contacted Chris on Saturday evening; he took an inventory on Sunday afternoon and gave me a quote by the evening. Essex Removals couldn't fulfil my original move date for the Monday at such short notice, but were able to move me on the Tuesday. The team were AMAZING! I had struggled to finish packing and was in floods of tears on the morning itself. However, for an additional agreed charge, the team obtained extra packing materials on the day, and whizzed around boxing up my belongings. They were thorough, careful and efficient, with the entire move successfully completed in 6 hours. The team were kind, friendly, respectful, punctual and - above all - professional. They narrowly missed out on 5 stars only because of just one tiny issue (which was specific to me personally) that I've shared privately with Chris, rather than post here. If you are seeking a local removals company, I would highly recommend Essex Removals. They came to the rescue when I needed a removals service, and delivered in every possible way. The team were incredibly professional in all aspects of their work. I originally planned to move house myself but after injuring my back I was reluctant to ask for help. Essex House Removals were on hand to make the process as easy as possible and I didn’t need to lift a finger as they took care of the heavy lifting and took time and diligence over my belongings. Multiple furniture items were damaged with dents, scrapes etc. One pricy item just dissappeared between loading and unloading. Owner asking to get paid at 9pm the day before delivery. There's better removal companies, try those

We were moving out of the county with a 4 month old going from a 4 bed 4 bathroom to a 3 bed so were incredibly anxious about the move. However, we had an absolutely faultless experience with the team. The survey that was completed at the start of the process was put together with a lot of wiggle room and a friendly run down of the process, the packing equipment supplied was a great help, the actual move was a complete breeze and the eventual unpacking made the whole thing completely stress free. I would also point out that every member of staff my family and I interacted with were above professional, friendly and made us feel that no request was too much. That also includes my contact with the organisation team over email and phone. They also went above and beyond at the new property when we struggled with a very difficult glass door. They could have easily left it to us but we so appreciated the help. I can’t praise them enough. It’s a shame we’ve moved out of Essex as, if we needed to move again, we would 100% rely on them again.
