I came here in 2021 to get some cells pulled out of the pelvic crest and injected into my shoulder joint to try and solve some chronic inflammation.
I found some temporary relief and shoulder inflammation.
However…
I was left with chronic back pain and tightness from the procedure, which I’ve never had in my entire life. The doctor took no accountability and acted surprised like no one’s ever mentioned this to him before.
Five years later, shoulder pain is still there, now I have to deal with seemingly new back pain for the rest of my life.
Do not go here.

Bone marrow aspiration from the posterior iliac crest is a standard part of certain regenerative procedures. While most patients experience only temporary soreness at the harvest site, We recognize that a small number of patients can develop longer-lasting discomfort or tightness. Your feedback is important to us.
Since 2021, we have significantly refined our techniques and now rarely perform bone marrow aspiration from the iliac crest in this manner, having moved toward less invasive and lower-risk approaches for most patients. We continue to take every report like yours seriously and use them to improve our protocols.
That said, the experience you describe does not sound like the level of follow-up care we strive to provide. If you felt our doctor or staff was dismissive or surprised during our conversations, we sincerely apologize. That was never our intention.
We would welcome the opportunity to see you again for a follow-up consultation at no charge. We can review your current symptoms, any imaging, and discuss options that might help relieve your back discomfort. Dr. Ozarkar and the team at Riordan Medical Institute are world class in terms of patient care and attentiveness. I had a knee injury that would have taken weeks to schedule care through my insurance carriers providers. Instead, Dr. Ozarkar was able to analyze me, order MRIs, diagnose the problem, and create a care plan in less than 24 hours! My upcoming golf trip was saved and I am on the path of healing. This is my fourth time using the Riordan Medical Institute for a variety of pain issues and they are the absolute best. They have my highest recommendation!
If you're having aches and pain in the joints or elsewhere, give the great folks at Riordan a call, you will be treated very well and professionally. I have personally had stem cell treatment and other forms of treatments targeting various parts of my body, all have been successful. I cannot say enough about how great the staff and Dr is here. Before arriving I talked on the phone with Ana and Dusty. It was so nice to put faces with voices and actually get greeted with smiles all four days. Cody, Erin and Amy took care of me during the IV treatments and were able to answer all my questions. I was a bit nervous and the eased my mind. On the fourth day I had injections in my from the top of my neck down to the tailbone. I have been dealing with years of pain. You would think after a procedure like that I would be in excruciating pain, but it is quite the opposite. I will update as my progress continues. I'm very hopeful with all that I have heard from past clients. Even the locals talk highly of RMI, seeing people visiting for treatments and seeing their progress.

When I was running out of hope for my back pain and full body inflammation, I came across RMI! I had the 3 days of IV infusions and the 4th day I had the back injections along with the epidural. All with stem cells! Not even a week later, I am able to walk better and the inflammation is getting much better. My morning pain and stiffness is nearly gone!!! If you’re iffy on having this treatment, just do it!! You will not regret it! Everyone at this clinic is fabulous and treated me as family from the moment I walked in the door till I left on the 4th day! Dr O is very thorough with explaining and making the patient feel comfortable. Nurse Cody is the best, he never missed my veins and he offered a drink & snack for each treatment and made sure I was warm with a blanket, Erin is very helpful with going over blood work and letting me know what my body was lacking and Ana at the front desk, she is a hoot and greets ya with a big ole smile! Can’t wait to update in a few months!

Very good experience at the cliniic! Dr. Ozarkar and the staff are devoted to high quality patient care.
All my questions were answered so i would know what to expect during treatment, after treatment, and long term plans for my chronic pain. They did everything to make me feel comfortable. Riordan Medical Institute is an outstanding clinic and a great alternative to traditional medical practice.

After many years of pain management both proactively and post injury from other doctors and facilities, I finally found the most effective, talented, honest and kind practice to manage and improve my health at the ripe old age of age of 62. I want you to trust your instinct that medicine and alternatives have truly evolved and what they provide here will become the standard in the near future.
They are kind, accommodating to my busy schedule and find the means to get me in swiftly when in major pain.

About as good as it gets as to honest diagnosis and the treatment needed to help reduce pain significantly. I have slowly become a loyal patient treating lifelong issues proactively and also post injury issues. I rarely utilize my prior pain management doctors as this office and Dr O are unmatched as to quality of care.
Dr Ozarkar and the entire staff are absolutely amazing. Their care is next level and their attention to detail are unmatched.

My husband has old jock knees and after a lot of research, we made an appointment with Dr. Ozarkar for prp/stem cell injections. Anna, Amy, Dusty and, of course, Dr. Ozarkar were so genuinely helpful, caring and informative. They took all the time we needed and answered all of our questions. My husband decided to go ahead with prp injections for both knees. He had zero issues and started feeling better in just a few days!! We can't recommend this clinic more highly. We are both so grateful for Dr. Ozarkar and the staff there.
This review has been a long time coming.
I saw Dr. Ozarkar back in late October. A dear friend’s son had just passed away from a complication due to an auto immune condition, the same auto immune condition that I have. When I saw Dr. Ozarkar, I was in pain and honestly, emotional. He took the time to show the areas of my spine that were fusing together and to explain how stem cell therapy would help. He also took the time to validate my feelings realizing just how expensive the treatment is. He shared good information about insurance and how they are working with the current administration to make this treatment available to everyone. After leaving his office, I received a call from another physician who he had worked with that would be able to help me with my specific condition. Dr. Ozarkar went above and beyond to help me and connect me with the right people. This clinic genuinely cares about people. The front office staff was amazing and answered so many questions!
I did ultimately get stem cell injections and it did help and I’m hopeful for a clinical trial to be started that treats Anklyosing Spondylitis. Auto immune conditions need more stem cell treatments than an injury. I’m praying that might be considered soon…
For everyone else, this is the best clinic you can go to for treatment. Highly recommend.
We accompanied our mom to have her cervical and lower lumbar procedure with Dr. Ozarkar. He and his staff were wonderful. Every aspect and detail was explained to us and we were given every opportunity to ask questions. We highly recommend Dr. Ozarkar.
I had chronic neck (headaches) and shoulder pain where I was taking pain meds almost daily. I had stem cell treatment in 2019 and now 5 years later, I am still living nearly pain free. I now rarely take any pain medication and my headaches rarely occur. My shoulder works well and is without pain. I am so grateful for the Roirdan clinic giving me this new lease on life.
I had been looking into this for a while. Someone recommended Riordan Medical Institute to me. I had already read about Dr Neil Riordan so I was familiar with his work. Talked several times on the phone with Dr Ozarkar. Very helpful and answered all questions I had. Stayed a week. Exceptional consumer service. Treated lumbar area, left hamstring and left knee. I am 2 weeks into this and feel really optimistic. All my trust and respect for the team.
I can't say enough good things about this place and about Dr. Ozarker in particular. I went to the clinic prepared to throw money at a knee problem and they took the time to figure out what's going on, walk me through options, and ultimately recommended a much more wallet-friendly fix than what I thought I needed. Also, the vibe from the moment you walk into the clinic is welcoming and comforting, and everyone who interacted with me was friendly, kind and caring. If only all healthcare were like RMI. These folks do healthcare right!!
