Unprofessional & Illegal Telemarketing Practices
Review Body:
We are on the National Do Not Call Registry and yet have been receiving repeated spam calls from this company -- sometimes every 3 minutes. I politely asked the caller to remove us from their list, and the telemarketer immediately hung up. I left a voicemail expressing my dissatisfaction, and the same telemarketer actually called back to tell me to "F*** off."
This is not only rude and unprofessional but a clear violation of federal telemarketing laws. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can only imagine how they conduct business.
Aside from the fact that this company has terrible rates and terms, as others have said below....they don't offer monthly statements or any sort of portal to access your information. How hard is it to email the people who are keeping you in business a statement? Once they have your money they don't care about you anymore, unless it's to offer you new loans, which you would be foolish to take.
I just got a curt email (when asking for the 20th time for these statements), saying to "use an online banking application to download the transactions." Lol.
It's possible that no really works here, and this company is run by a rogue AI program that secretely eats loan applications. I have tried every number and department for a week, never got a person on the phone. I don't know what all those "people" in the company photo are doing, but it's not answering the company phones. I have however been receiving successive emails reminding me to finish my online application, which I did. This puzzled me, until I realized it was just another ploy by the reliant bot to eat more loan applications. You have been warned.
I was contacted by Tyler foreman about a business loan. I specifically stated to him
That I did not need the funds for my business. He was extremely
Pushy, so I went ahead and filled out the application. I was very specific with him that I was not going to take out a loan, because I did not need it, unless the interest rate was really low. When he came back with the offer I politely declined . Reiterating that I wasn’t going to take it. He hung up the phone on me. Extremely unprofessional person within this company. They will never get a referral or business from me.

First they make you think you’ll get approved in one day. Wrong did application Thursday reached out Monday Ryan claimed he was in a meeting but text me. Reached out Tuesday no response only to get a email saying we was approved. Don’t waste your time. Scammers. And still haven’t heard from Ryan. What a joke and waste of time
Funny how your business is not even in my state, yet here you are sending me letters all the way to South Carolina lying about qualifying rates and fishing for business with predatory 1998 tactics. Everyone is better off doing business with their local bank than these people.

Reliant Funding connects with many small business owners through direct mail marketing. Business financials are not at risk and a funding offer cannot be made until business ownership and owner identification can be verified. If you would like to remove your business from receiving any future marketing materials from Reliant Funding, please email remove@reliantfunding.com. Thank you.

Let me share my experience with Reliant Funding. As a new business owner in 2020 my experience has already been a rollercoaster. Having the the opportunity to finally open my family restaurant and then have it all come to a stop due to COVID was a true nightmare. Then, not having any support from the government at the time because I was not open in 2019 was just another major slap in the face. I was desperate for support which lend me to this Funding company. It was devastating to hear that I have to pay back almost 50% of what I needed to borrow. However, when you need the help you will take anything. Long story short I was recently approach by the company again as months have passed and I could request for more funds but at a better rate (i'm assuming)..I sent my recent statements and then they replied back saying I was not approved and that I will be charged an additional $2,500 for a breach of contract. I was so confused as I have never missed a daily payment. I continued to read the email and they said I have used another company and that is not allowed. So, not only does this company charge you about 50% of whatever amount you need but they also charge you if you use another company. This was never made clear to me and we are in a global pandemic so of course I need any support possible and I have NEVER missed a payment. I will be contacting the company soon to talk with management and hopefully have a better response as their business model is "literally to help other businesses succeed"... Will keep you guys posted.
