The greeter David had me me walk by myself abt 25 feet to my table. He couldn't be bothered to do his job. I sat there 20 minutes while a brunette male passed my table multiple times and avoided me. He helped the booth next to me and then when his table of 10 camein (abt 30 min later) he also served that entire table alone. However, i had the most adorable, professional and very proud server(proud of the establishment). She, without being prompted, told me how hard the scratch kitchen staff works. She proceeded to tell me about the restaurant and that she had almost been there a year. Her name begins with the letter A. By the way, i summoned her to my table. It appears that David didn't let anyone know that the booth that every server walked by to go into the kitchen needed a server , water and utensils. David also neglected to leave utensil like i saw him do for other tables.
The food was only, okay. I had the fried shrimp appetizer and a very very spicy jambalaya entree.
A 1 for the ambience.
Our company had planned to host our Christmas party at this venue, and we were all looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the reservation was mishandled. The space was double-booked, and the staff didn’t communicate the issue in a timely or professional way. Days went by without any clear answers.
Because of this, our company had no choice but to cancel and look for another place with very little time left. It created a lot of unnecessary stress for our team and ruined the excitement we had for the event.
This experience showed a serious lack of organization and reliability. I would be cautious about booking an event here.
As an employee who was involved in planning our company event, I’m very disappointed with how this venue handled our reservation. The event space was double-booked, and instead of reaching out quickly or offering a real solution, they changed the terms of the reservation. Our team made several attempts to communicate by email and phone, yet days went by with no response.
This caused a major inconvenience for all of us. We had already coordinated with coworkers and guests, and the last-minute change forced our company to scramble for a new venue. The lack of communication and professionalism not only disrupted our plans, but also created unnecessary stress for everyone involved.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend booking an event here. Their poor handling of the situation and disregard for timely communication are unacceptable.
I am extremely disappointed with the service and professionalism of this company. My event space was double-booked by Audra Whitelock Administration & Accounting
Events & Reservations, and instead of contacting me promptly or offering a proper solution that would actually work for my company, they changed the terms of my reservation. I emailed, replied to their message, and made two phone calls, yet I received no response for days.
This situation was handled poorly from start to finish. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is unacceptable, especially when planning an important event. I ultimately had to cancel my reservation due to their breach of contract and had to book elsewhere at the last minute, which caused a huge inconvenience to me, my employees, and our invited guests.
I do not recommend booking any events here. Please be cautious before trusting them with your special occasion.
I was invited to this venue for our company Christmas party, but we never got to experience it because the event had to be canceled. The manager double-booked the space we had reserved, and the situation was handled very poorly. There was little to no communication, and our team was left waiting for days without answers.
Because of this mistake, our company had to find a new location at the last minute. It caused a lot of stress and inconvenience for everyone who was supposed to attend.
It’s disappointing to see this level of disorganization. I wouldn’t recommend this place for events if you expect professionalism and reliable communication.
The food at Frisco absolutely delivered. The Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta stole the show right out of the gate -- creamy, spicy, and packed with flavor that just kept building. Every bite hit that perfect balance between heat and richness, with the chicken seared just right and the shrimp cooked to perfection. It's the kind of dish that makes you slow down just to savor it.
Then the ancho-glazed meatloaf landed -- and honestly, it deserves its own spotlight. Deep smoky flavor, that sweet-savory glaze, and mashed potatoes that were buttery and smooth underneath. The crispy fried onions on top gave it that final crunch that ties everything together.
Every plate looked like it was made with intention and serious skill. Frisco isn't just serving dinner -- they're putting out flavor experiences. If you're anywhere nearby, this place is absolutely worth the stop.
I made a reservation for my Hubby's birthday dinner.
This establishment was easy to locate, provided free parking, very clean, and had great tv's for sports viewing.
We were seated immediately upon arrival and greeted by Adam.
Adam had a great personality larger than life!!
Great recommendations, fantastic flow of food, and perfect for our party of 13.
Collectively, we ordered the following.
- Firecracker Grilled Wings - Amazing
- Brewpub Pretzel - Very tender, tasty, and huge. Magnificent mustard came w pretzel.
- Crab Dip - Plentiful, above average.
- Frisco Chicken Sandwich - DE-licious !!
- Brickoven Pies (Cheese) - A table hit!!
- Bayou Burrito - A lot of flavor, great size.
- Cheesesteak Eggrolls - The table couldn't get enough of this yumminess!!
- Cajun Chicken & Shrimp Pasta - Perfecto!!
- Louisiana Red Jambalaya - Whoa! Large portion, flavorful, and very good.
- Frisco Burger - Perfecto !! Very good.
- Loaded Caesar (Small) - Fresh
- Skillet Cookie- So rich, shareable.
- Campfire Brownie - Rich in flavor, tasty.
- Grand Marnier (Shot) - ** read below **
- Long Island Iced Tea - VERY smooth!
Each and everything was great, except a double shot ordered at the table. It was smaller than a single shot. We didn't want to make a scene, so we dealt w it. But never again.
Overall, it was a great visit!
I look forward to returning to catch sporting events on 1 of the many TV's as well as Happy Hour.
I came across their Tuesday crab cake special and had enough time to also make HH so how could I not. How could anyone not!?
I decided upon their Escape Pina Colada Sour after Juan gave me a sample when he noticed my hesitancy and I agreed I could down a glass since it didn't taste like an actual beer after sipping lol
I asked for a menu after some time had passed and after I tried scanning the QR code on the bar multiple times (don't do that. It's for the actual woodworker/carpenter lol)
I saw their Tuesday special online but it wasn't mentioned on the menu so I asked and was informed it was only for the restaurant side (Frisco). I was confused because when I walked in on the Frisco side I asked the bartender about the brewery side since I knew I'd have to sample something before committing and was informed to go through the restroom door to reach it on the other side. I made sure to ask if I could also order food from over there as well and was informed I could. No worries though, Juan took care of me and was able to place the order for me. I was about to be bad and order fries but he recommended their parmesan risotto instead and I thought, of course! Then, I remembered they offered seasonal veggies and asked about it and to my happy surprise was informed they had bok choy or brussels sprouts! Either would be yummy so I quickly agreed.
This is definitely a local's spot. Many people came in and were known my first names so I felt comforted by that. They're was also a manager on the phone figuring out a mishap with their POS system as well which made me feel like they were on their stuff. Highly appreciated plus he quickly picked up my keys when I dropped them also so I didn't have to get down from my seat. Speaking to a girlies heart
The light was low so my pics show that and when I attempted to correct it, it just wasn't it lol. I enjoyed the bok choy and couldn't make out the flavors but they didn't take away from the slight pepperiness of it and the stalk still had it's crunch. But my crab cake was tasty. I don't know if i can get on board with the inside but being crazy hot. The one I had the day prior wasn't hot inside either and I don't want it deep fried . . . . . Hmmmmm, small I start a crab cake tour I've been awaiting this journey . . . . I shall! So this is officially stop No. 2
Crab cake was seasoned well. Not too much seasoning and not bland. The outside was covered with jumbo lump clusters and the color on the broil was perfect. Fresh parsley throughout and cocktail sauce was given but I wasn't going to take away from their version. Was it MD crab? I'm not sure but I feel like if it was, it would have been advertised as such. Still good and I'd order again.
I can see myself coming back after work to take advantage of their HH many times in the future.
A solid brewery and restaurant. Large diverse selection of beers on tap. Pretty extensive food menu with decent quality. They ply live music and have ravens games on Sunday. The service here on Sundays is excellent, you order via QR code where you're sitting and the drinks come to you. The service and atmosphere are excellent, always a good times. One of my favorite places to get a drink and catch the ravens game
A 5 star casual dining environment!
We found ourselves in the area around lunch and decided to stop in at the Reckless Shepard. I’ve heard several people refer it but hadn’t gone myself until now. For casual dining, this spot is great. Spacious and airy, it boasts several long high tops, two seater high tops for a more intimate feel, bar seating and an area for a private party.
There is a stage with ample lighting to make any night of the week; the best night. Multiple projectors spanned the room with a soft glow coming from the big distillery room. The ambience was really cool. We certainly appreciated the 90’s nostalgic playlist of music videos playing just loud enough to know your songs but continue your conversation.
We ordered a pizza, fries, wings, latkes, and a Cobb salad to go with our margarita, hazy IPA, and blue motorcycle. Everything was fresh and hot and savory. The drinks were delicious and well portioned! You scan for the menu and add your items so we only experienced the server when food was brought out but he was super nice still.
I loved the sauce on the pizza, light and tomatoey and savory as well!
The bathrooms were large and clean and the parking was ample for a Friday. We would certainly consider hosting an event or celebration here!
