Rajiv is a blessing in disguise. Helped me get my case dismissed while being kind and compassionate to my mother so she’s doesn’t stress anymore. Definitely recommend him for problematic tenants. He knows his information and also offered me some good the first day I met him as I went directly after the gym for a consultation and was starving.

Rajivs interaction was professional, respectful and showed the upmost compassion towards this ugly situation that we was in. The most accurate thing I can say about Mr. Syed is that "HE DOES THIS", meaning he knows the ins and outs of a tenant/landlord dispute. The process in NYC unfortunately is very long and annoying but Mr. Syed walks you through accurately on how things will go and gives the best guidance on how to handle the dispute. I had tenants that did not want to leave the my house, Mr. Syed helped me through the court process and come up with an agreement that worked for me. I am happy with the results and would recommend.

It’s been almost two years, and I finally feel ready to write this review. Hiring this lawyer was one of the worst professional decisions I’ve ever made. I paid him $1,800 expecting he would serve the tenant and represent us properly in court. Instead, the case dragged on for months as the tenant’s lawyer continuously advocated for their client while mine did little to push our case forward.
This was my first time evicting someone under a CityFHEPS voucher, and instead of guidance, I was met with arrogance. When I expressed frustration about losing nearly $15,000–$20,000 over two years on a simple holdover eviction, he became defensive and even threatened me.
In court, I watched him laugh and chat casually with the opposing attorneys, including the tenant’s lawyer—completely unprofessional given the circumstances. Despite his positive reviews, I personally found him unprepared, dismissive, and ineffective. He repeatedly asked for more money yet failed to complete paperwork, referred me to other people, and left me waiting months for progress.
As a social worker now, looking back, I wish I had chosen differently. This lawyer does not fight for justice, and I urge anyone considering his services to proceed with extreme caution.

Don’t waste your time With this Attorney!!. Called them for legal advice and was told that the attorney would call me back. So I left a detailed message with his assistant. A week later I got NO call back. I called back several times only to then be told by the same assistant that I need to come in person.for a consultation. She statesld that they don’t do consultations by phone.
Then why tell me That a phone consult a week before was doable.
Complete nonsense and a waste of time!
