I have been using the Quiqlite for 8 years with most of that working graveyard shifts as a police officer. The light makes it so easy to do my job. When I need to take notes, I have enough light in the right spot. When I want a conversation with someone where I don’t need a super bright light, but I need some light so we can talk like humans and see each other, this light is perfect. When I need to flash the light on for a moment, it is super easy. The boost light is incredible to add enough light. It is so easy to adjust it to get the right angle when talking with people.
The only downside was I broke 3-4 lights over the first few years from wrestling with suspects. The light, usually the plastic holder, would break. Approximately 2 years ago, I contacted the company, and I spoke with the owner. He told me his company had a metal version and also a pen light. He provided amazing customer service and even inscribed my name on both items. Since then, I have not had it break, and I could not be happier. I like how thin the pen light is, and I use that for red light usually in car stuff. It would work for interviewing people, but I like the regular size light for the angles.
Doing a night shift without the light is brutal. I rely on the lights so much. It makes my job so easy. I cannot recommend this product enough. Good battery life and rechargeable so it is super easy. I don’t recharge it often, and I use it constantly throughout the night. Go buy one, you will love it. I have used all the colors, but I like the double white light best and red for the pen. Invest in your equipment and start with this.
Good, but one small design flaw.
This thing works. It's sturdy, illuminates well, stays clipped where you clip it, stays pointed where you point it. It's a good, hands-free light, and the modes are thoughtfully chosen. It does have one small design flaw... when you fold it up and put in your pocket, the activation button isn't covered or protected, so it can accidentally turn on.
Waste of money.
This is the second time I have ordered this product. The first one came and was delivered just fine with no issues. The first one worked for about a month or so and then stopped. It wouldn’t even charge. I ordered this one as gift to replace that first light. This one came broken and inoperable. Not going to order a second time.If you are considering ordering this for yourself or as a gift I wouldn’t waste your time and energy.
Great for work
Have had this for over a year and use it almost every single shift, normally multiple times per shift. Battery lasts for quite a while. Charging in my car takes a long time but that may be due to running it through a usb port. Clips on very securely to Molle panels and takes up very little space. Only real complaint is no ability to adjust the red lights brightness, it would be awesome if I could make that brighter when a white light is not ideal to use. Bought a 2nd for my sister who has also been a huge fan of it
Great for First Responders - Heavy Duty Use!
Here is the Standard Review for the QUIQLITEX2 Tactical Red/White Hands-Free LED Pocket Light with Aluminum Housing. This device is great for first responders, especially if you work at night. The aluminum case is extremely durable for heavy duty use. The red light is perfect for writing at night. The white light is also great for writing or as a general flashlight. The device also features a tactical mode for emergency use to be seen quickly or to disorient a target. This clips to a duty vest or pocket easily and is charged with a USB Cable.
Good product but needs an updated rail system
I really like this product, However the durability is less impressive. The product only lasted 3 weeks before it broke. The light and features on it still work however the holding rail is completely broke in half. This occurred during work when it drop from my jacket onto the cement. I believe the company also makes a steal plate rail holder version. If so I recommend looking into an updated version if of the QUIQLITEX I.D.
