Had a great time 4/11 at Puglia! Very festive on a Saturday evening! Food was perfect, service was spot on with our server. Honestly, with a price tag around $50 for two people, can’t really complain. We had the lasagna, pasta with vodka sauce and shrimp, an order of garlic bread, a glass of Chianti. Lots of fun birthday celebrations going on, and live duet, who also acted as our hosts.
Came here as part of a tour with a tour company and was very underwhelmed. There was not enough food served to the tables, and courses were too quick. Then the older man came out and gave a "rousing performance" for the restaurant, which is not my thing but others liked it and when he was done he came around to each table expecting tips for his performance. Mind you, most of the people in the restaurant were children. Weird experience. And food was lackluster.
Haven't been to Puglia in 10 years. Went back and everything was terrific from the bread to the salad to the main course. The chicken parm was delicious!! Even had Jorge playing on a Wednesday evening. Reasonably priced phenomenal dinner in Little Italy what could be better. The waiter we had Pablo (hope i got his name right) was attentive and friendly. Really nice guy and made the meal even better. Will be back!
0/5. Avoid if you don’t want to take the chance of having your evening ruined. Made reservations the other night for 2 @ 7:30pm on 3/4/26. Showed up to no host service, just an avoidant waiter who pointed to a table with 8-chairs for us to sit at (restaurant was at quarter-capacity). He left our table without asking or saying anything, and never looked our direction again. We sat there for 15-20 minutes very patiently because my wife and I had always wanted to eat at this spot, and we had high hopes. THE WAITER NEVER ONCE ACKNOWLEDGED US. I could understand if the restaurant was jam-packed and we were tucked in a corner, but we were placed smack dab in the middle of an open-air kitchen. We got up, put our coats on and left to go eat somewhere else. Weirdest and most despicable restaurant experience I’ve ever had.
