I recently used PSS for an international shipment and couldn’t be happier with the service received from start to end. The items arrived at their destination in tip top condition, packing service was top notch and agents (from customer service, sales, packers) were polite and professional throughout. I’d easily use them again, highly recommended.

I used PSS Removals for a UK → US move. I coordinated with John Seed and Helen Griffin, who promised smooth handling and that they would “move mountains.” Unfortunately, that reassurance turned out to be empty.
Once the shipment reached the US, I discovered hidden and previously undisclosed fees, particularly for local delivery. PSS does not cover these costs and takes no responsibility once the shipment is in the US. They outsource to a third-party company, Schumacher Cargo, which I was never properly warned about.
At that stage, I was effectively forced to pay additional, unexpected charges in order for my belongings to be released. There was no transparency, no clear policy, and when challenged, everything was allegedly “in the fine print.”
This was stressful, expensive, and deeply disappointing.
If you are considering an international move — especially to the US — do yourself a favor and stay away from PSS Removals.
They also delete reviews from the sister branches...shame.
Made an enquiry about moving belongings abroad. Been bombarded with annoying calls and emails since. Lost a customer, due to endless spam and annoying phone calls. No opt out option on emails. Absolutely shocking. Leave me alone!

Stay away! A terrible company with awful staff and service. We organised for a simple service when moving to Australia from the UK, we required 3 moving boxes and a suitcase to be shipped. The 4 pieces were picked up from our house and we received a confirmation email.
Three months later, I called PSS to ask for an ETA on our things, I was told that they had no record of receiving our suitcase even though I had a confirmation email. They had also forgotten to contact me to discuss this and had not attempted to locate the missing suitcase. Because the service was now on hold, our three remaining boxes had been sat in their warehouse with no plans to send to us in Australia. They kindly offered to air freight the boxes for approx £1000!!! The boxes took another 3 months to arrive and were and a terrible condition. The boxes were caved in and our belongings were damaged inside.
Throughout the process, PSS did not return a single phone call after they said they would. Did not attempt to find our missing suitcase and each member of staff was horrible and rude to deal with.
Stay away from this company!!!
*edit. The below response sums up the 'customer service' of this company. They have claimed that they worked hard to find the missing box, however failed to mention that they did not start to locate the missing box until 3 months after they were supposed to receive it. By this time, the likelihood of finding a missing box reduced massively. The missing box was noted when the items arrived in the PSS warehouse hence why my shipment was kept in the warehouse, but PSS did not attempt to locate to missing box until I followed up three months later.
It's also interesting to see the polite response on a public platform, a complete contrast to the hostile and rude previous private communications. Also no justification to why they did not return a single phone call during the entire process after numerous promises.
I cannot stress enough to stay away from this company for international freight.
There was no dispute over the liability cover, no need for this to be mentioned in the defensive response from PSS.

I can see your removal took place in 2022 and as mentioned at the time your complaint and claim were dealt with; the claim could only fall under our limited liability cover as you had chosen not to take out the standard liability cover for your items which, would have covered you up to their value. I can see that we worked hard with our couriers to locate the missing box as the box did not make it to us directly and was missing prior to us receiving your other goods, and we were pushing hard for searches with the UK courier, but they unfortunately could not locate the item. We can only apologise for the delay in your items arriving and we are sorry you remain unhappy regarding this however, we are pleased to also see that the claim was settled in 2023 when you had accepted the outcome and settlement amount.

BEWARE. I used PSS Removals to send several boxes of very personal belongings to Dubai. ALL of the boxes arrived totally destroyed despite being covered from top to bottom in ‘FRAGILE’ tape. Every single item of glassware, crockery, picture frames, electrical, you name it - smashed to pieces and some stuff missing too. Like they had thrown my boxes from the top of a building (I have attached just a few of many images). This ‘family run’ company then dodged all of my emails looking for some for of compensation. All they do is pass the buck. Terrible, shady firm. Go elsewhere!

I've previously reviewed PSS International Removals in respect of a move overseas, where: a/ incorrect deadlines were provided, b/ three items were smashed, c/ three valuable items were missing/rendered obsolete, for which the company has a legal responsibility. The company has posted false remarks, that it was not given the opportunity to respond - it was. The company's operations director was then contacted. Here's a copy of the letter sent to her. You may wish to draw your own conclusions, that the company has had adequate time to remediate but has elected not to do so.
absolute disaster. schedule over-ran and was not adhered to, with no apology or explanation. staff were generally unhelpful. a number of items were damaged and a number of items went missing. avoid. unreliable and untrustworthy, as well as unprofessional and unable to stick to a schedule.

I can see that the arrival of your goods took slightly longer than quoted, and we can only apologise for the approximately two weeks delay however, please do understand that our transit times are estimated, and we have no control over the shipping lines or if there are delays on the sea or congestion at the port. I can see that your move manager had kept you updated with when your items were loaded and when they departed from the UK, and tracking details were sent to yourself for the vessel whilst it was on the sea. I am sorry to hear of the damaged items, unfortunately as you had chosen not to cover your goods, we have been unable to submit a claim for yourself, and with regards to any missing items, I’m afraid we have not been made aware of this by yourself prior to your review. We have checked with the destination agents, and this was also not mentioned to them nor noted on the delivery paperwork as all items have been marked and signed as delivered.
