Good for the Right Client, But Know What You're Getting After working with this advisor, I'd say they're a solid fit — but only for a specific type of client. If you're primarily focused on property investment or want someone to manage everything completely hands-off, they could be a good match. Their knowledge around mortgage broking and building wealth through property is where they genuinely shine. That said, I found their approach to share investing more complex than necessary and not particularly optimal. For anyone interested in straightforward, low-cost investing, you may find their strategy doesn't align with best-practice approaches like index fund investing. The fees are on the higher side, and I'd strongly encourage anyone considering this advisor to scrutinise them closely. Ask yourself: what is the opportunity cost of those fees if the same money had simply been invested in a low-cost index fund? Over time, that gap can be significant. My personal takeaway for most investors: • A fixed-fee advisor paired with a good accountant will likely serve you better and be more cost-effective • Keep your portfolio simple — low-cost index funds are hard to beat • Max out your super contributions before looking elsewhere • If property is your goal, consider putting that advisory budget toward a buyers agent instead — you'll likely get more targeted value Bottom line: this advisor suits someone with a clear property focus or someone who genuinely wants to be completely hands-off and isn't too fee-sensitive. For the self-directed or share-market-focused investor, I'd look elsewhere.

This team is the genuine article. I am a really sophisticated investor. After a detailed 1hr free consult ProSolutions suggested I was doing well and I would not sufficiently benefit as a client given fees. Prosolutions state on their website if they can’t add value above their fee base they will say that. And they did! I really appreciated the honesty and value based service. Have consumed a lot of Stuart Wemyss' blogs, podcasts and books over the years - this has provided me with a lot of valuable content (the majority of it for free). Have now used ProSolution's mortgage broking services who have provided great advice on tax structuring and loan structuring which will save me tens of thousands of dollars in future. Jodi McKeown and Mario Matko in particular have done a great job with loan structuring and liaising with banks, has been a seamless process.
