Today I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. David Lamb.
Nothing but the highest praise. He answered every question, helped me relate the various options to my personal lifestyle, my favorite things to do. No questions were off limits - he is an accepting, caring, incredibly positive person.
He spent as much time as I needed and was nothing but: attentive, informative, and open.
One Super high recommendation is deserved. Thank you Dr. David. You - brightened- my - day more than you can know.
John
The most unprofessional experience I had. I scheduled an appointment with David Lamb which was a month out. a week before the appointment I got a call that he had to reschedule due to him having to perform a surgery, now had to wait two more weeks. I got a second call to reschedule again for the same reason not sure why this happens and how surgeries are scheduled to override other appointments.
Dr. Matthew J. TORMENTI, MD was very friendly and very professional. I felt very comfortable in this medical facility. We discussed with the doctor any questions. I liked this service and also I liked the whole process of our conversation. So the medical assistant before my meeting with the doctor, he was also competitive and a nice person. All the staff at the reception and front desk were also very nice and friendly. I really recommend this doctor - Matthew J. Tormenti.
If I could give negative stars I would. I went with mid/upper back pain and hip pain. Dr. Dhimanth Balar was my consulting physician. Although he listened to my concerns he proceeded to disregard them once he learnt I'm an IT professional. He said my pain is due to poor posture which is a possibility, HOWEVER he did not prescribe any medication whatsoever for some relief nor did he have me a script for PT. He over exaggerated my sitting position and although I told him I don't sit in the way he was showing he did not listen to me. Moreover he gave me 12 pages of exercises (around 30 of them ) and asked me practice them at home. I showed them to a PT who said they are either irrelevant for my condition and/or will make my pain worse.
Some of the notes he put in the portal are not entirely true. He put in notes that he asked me to go to Chiro and PT but these were never recommended. The word Chiro was never even mentioned. He also put in the notes that I was complaiing about being achy but that's not completely true. I told him I was in a lot of pain. Although I don't have numbness and it's not radiating still I was in pain and he did nothing to alleviate my pain like prescribing some anti inflammatory or anything like that. He said I don't need an epidural which I did not even consider or knew anything about.
I really wish Google would come up with No stars because that's what this doctor deserves.
I would avoid seeing Dr. Balar.
I would have to agree with the other reviewers here that there should be a negative rating put into the reviews option.
Princeton Brain & Spine does fully deserve a negative 5-star review.
Now, I am not reviewing here the surgical skills of the several doctors belonging to this practice. That should only be done via proved and accurate documentation of the success rate of the surgeries they performed in, say, 5 years period.
However, the way this office operates and Dr. Shah's patient etiquette and bedside manners are horrible, impolite, unpleasant, and outrageously condescending.
I had a "pleasure" to be seen by Dr. Shah about 2 years ago. He was the only physician in this practice who wouldn't see patients at the time of their respective appointments but make them wait in their cars in the parking lot until they got a phone call. One would say, "Covid-19 measures" but somehow he was the only one who would adhere to it, no other doctor in this practice would.
Both times I had to sit in the car for over 1-plus hours waiting for a phone call. Sitting in the car for over 1-plus hrs after the time of my appointment! After receiving the phone call, I would go up to the office and wait yet another hour, only to be granted 45 seconds of Dr. Shah's tzar-like attention. He never read the radiology report before me walking into his room. Never bothered to check it. He read the report in my presence and completely brushed me off offering minimum to zero explanation. He visibly was in a hurry to leave the office and never made as much as a small effort to conceal it.
If you have any other alternative than Princeton Brain and Spine, please try your best to avoid this medical practice.
Dr Lipani is an outstanding surgeon. His care, compassion and knowledge, by far, is one of the reasons he has been Top Doc rated but their are many more. He has empathy and understanding and values your time. You are not left waiting in the waiting room for your appointment to see him for hours, they are very punctual. Their is no rushing you out of his office when you have an appointment with him, answers all your questions, explains things professionally and accurately in a way you can understand, and if available, will even speak with you on the phone. After going to the emergency room at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, 2016 (after crawling out of bed) with excruciating pain after a fall, I was given pain meds, sent home and was told to go see my own medical doctor. After several days of pain at home and waiting to see my own MD I couldn’t bare it and did my research on Neurosurgeons, came upon Dr. Lipani, and am glad that I did. Called his office for an appointment which I was able to get within a couple of days. Unfortunately, that next morning I woke up with no feeling in my left arm, called his office, got the answering service and received a call back from Dr. Lipani within minutes. Was rushed to Princeton Hospital and had immediate surgery. I remember the pain being so bad I was crying going into surgery. Woke up from surgery being able to feel my arm again. Since then he has done 3 other neck surgeries/fusions (due to other unfortunate things happening to me). The most recent was November 2022. He has an outstanding nurse Kathy, that also cares for you as a person. She will keep you updated, get back to you quickly and fight for you with the insurance company, she knows the laws…ins and outs of insurance. We all know that now a days insurance companies can be a nightmare. If you are looking for an experienced, up-to-date, kind, caring doctor with a great bedside manner Dr. Lipani is the one to reach out to. You just don’t find doctors like him anymore, he’s a rare gem.
This WAS the worst experience I ever witnessed. he seems to focus more on his clothes than the patient. PLEASE do not ever expect results from this office from the staff right to the Dr Mc LAUGH l in himself. he should concern himself with the welfare of his patients rather than his Cowboy boota
The Doctors and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Dr. Shaw is a compassionate and understanding person. While l only met with him 3 times, l feel l have known him for years! While the staff is always juggling multiple tasks, they are always available Gor each person with a smile! Well done to all.
