Terrible customer service and a bunch of scammers. We rented 4 jet skis (we signed a waiver/contract that even proves that) but staff told us that there is one jet ski that no one is using so staff gave it to us despite asking him multiple times and making sure that we won’t be charged for it only to find out that the credit card was indeed charged.
We contacted them again only to find out they were very rude and didn’t seem to care about anything. Text messages prove that but out of respect I won’t attach the screenshots . The least thing they could’ve done is apologize to us and be nice even if it was our fault, there was other ways to sort that out but they simply chose the disrespectful way which simply says a lot about their business and how they don’t care about their reputation. I will definitely not be visiting it again.

Its been 2 weeks I still haven't received my $2,500 deposit yet. Made numerous phone calls but all goes to voicemail and no one has returned my phone calls nor emails.
Update: I finally received my deposit back. But it should have been done much sooner, if i wouldn't leave a review here and send numerous messages and emails i dont think this would have happened. I rented the boat on the Sept 12 and returned within hours in same condition but they intiated the deposit return on sept 24 Just be aware.

I now know it was end of season , but we had to wait 20 minutes after our 10:00 o’clock check-in!
No staff around, I was told I’d be charged a late fee if not arrived on time!!!!
Tried calling their listed number, and all I got was Bob Marley (Don’t worry be happy) . Not possible to even leave a message!!!!!!!
I had to ask for life jackets!!
No washroom for us after 6 hours on the water?????
No staff around when we returned !
Left life jacket hanging on fence by ( I think might have been the office) a locked up wooden structure.
But will admit, the electronic communication before and after our visit was amazing.
Maybe , for water sports during the summer season would have been better

Really nice guys. We rented a pontoon for an hour and had a blast around the lake. Only complaint was the ladder at the back of the boat had only 1 rung and made it really hard for swimmers to climb back onto the boat. Otherwise, a good time and nice guys.

We had an amazing time with West Lake Water Sports this past Sunday! The whole experience was seamless from start to finish. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and made sure we felt comfortable and safe before getting out on the water. The jetskis were in great condition and a lot of fun to ride — powerful, smooth, and perfect for exploring the lake.
The location itself is beautiful, and being out on the water made for such a memorable day. Everything was well organized, from the check-in to the safety briefing, and it really showed how much the team cares about their guests having a great time.
Highly recommend West Lake Water Sports if you’re looking for an exciting and enjoyable way to spend a day on the lake. We’ll definitely be back!
Nous avons loué un ponton pour la journée, c'était super. Le staff super gentil, le west lake est très facile à naviguer. On peut aller se beacher sur les dunes de sable de sand banks et traversé vers le côté du lac Ontario. Pas personne, on avais 1km de plage à nous.

good, nice, friendly staff. they got all kinds of boats and jek skis you can rent. the good thing is that the rent is very affordable and competitive. you can score some discounts or bonus with them. i highly recommend using their services.

Not Recommended!!! We were placed on a pontoon boat that stalled 3 times. Finally, they moved us to another with no inspection, that did not have an anchor on board - and I was charged $169.00USD for it! Numerous attempts to have the charge reversed from the staff onsite, who acknowledged that I should get the credit, but they could not process it, only the boss Warren was authorized to do so. One month later, and Warren hasn't replied to emails and calls!!!

Horrible company to do business with. They take your money and never amend invoices after a change, don’t return calls and ignore emails. It feels like some kind of scam.
After a problem with our rental and told they would compensate us, I sent multiple emails (screenshotted), followed up with texts, and was promised the “boss” would call me back — but no one ever did. After nearly a week of chasing, I still haven’t heard from anyone. They keep saying they will be in touch, but nothing happens.
The boats themselves are in terrible condition and desperately need replacing. Our rental was delayed 30 minutes because the staff hadn’t shut off the previous boat properly, leaving us with a dead battery. The “backup” boats available were falling apart. We were promised compensation for the delay, but of course, nothing was ever done. We also changed the date of the rental, which was $48 cheaper. I was credited on my invoice but my credit card was still charged the full original amount.
Really disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer care. I STRONGLY recommend booking with another rental company — this one is not worth the stress or the risk.

My boat stopped in the middle of the water but after they assessed my boat they found out the propeller was missing. Fishing boat propeller cost 25 dollars. I tried to call them for a help but they never answered their phone. I had to call a friend of mine to come and tell them that my boat stopped.
They didn’t refund my deposit which is 339. Even if the missing propeller was my fault, at least charge me just for the missing propeller and answer your phone incase your client is in danger.

We had SO much fun!! Brought my media team here for a fun time on an afternoon. Perfect weather, very nice pontoon - but the most important thing was that Skylar was AWESOME! Westlake boat rentals: why are you letting your PWC rentals out after dark? It’s illegal and very dangerous for everyone involved. Not a one time occurrence. Tried to call you last night but only voicemail. Was darker than it’s showing in photos, they was 8:30 pm and they still had to cross the lake so was full dark upon their return to you.
Pontoons can run at night legally but a bad decision for rookies and most times they don’t even know to turn on navigation lights. Multiple occurrences of running in the dark with no lights over multiple years.
Two Summers ago, you let two women on a rental PWC with no lifejackets and I rescued them from the lake after they overturned the machine and were in the water; towed them back.
Not trying to be the fun wrecker here but please seriously tighten things up before someone gets hurt.
