When I ordered my transmission, I very quickly received emails with documenting information and the next steps I needed to take. When I placed my order, they told me it would arrive the following thursday, It actually arrived 2 days earlier than expected which was nice. It was packaged very nicely and even came with replacement fluid, which I was not expecting. I ordered a transmission jack at the same time from a different company. Which of course became delayed. Powertrain Products has a 15 day return policy. When I called said I had a problem, they simply asked how much time I needed. No talk of late fees or denials. I have had very few online orders that have gone this smoothly and from a company that has been this helpful. I will definitely be using them more in the future.

READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS !!!!!!! I am the owner of a reputable automotive repair shop that has been in business since 1981. I will never by another product from this company again!!!! We installed an engine in a Honda Odyssey and the customer opted and paid for the additional "No Fault" warranty. After about 3 thousand miles it was obvious the engine was burning oil, vehicle returned with a check engine light and no oil in it and no external oil leaks. We monitored and documented it for about 10 thousand miles. Then the vehicle returned with oil fouled spark plugs. I contacted the warranty department, which every time I called i had to sit on hold for at least a half hour to talk to someone. I was told by Dan that the engine would not pass their "test" before we did it. Turns out their test is bogus and he knows it. We performed the same test on two other vehicles of regular customers with the same vehicles that aren't burning oil and guess what same results!!! When i tried to contact the general managed (Ronnie) to get this resolved he never got back to me. Multiple voicemails and emails. When i tried to talk to his supervisor I'm told their is no one above him. Horrible way to do business!!!! Now I have an unhappy customer that i have to take care of and fix her engine for free. Because that's how a reputable business takes care of its customers!!!!!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere!!!

From the day I ordered my 6l80 it showed up about 2 weeks later, got it fully installed and been ripping it up after I did a 500mi break in. I got the 5 year warranty so it will be abused till them. Not a bad deal for 4k!

As per jeep dealer I needed a ptu. Contacted Power Train and they shipped one . There were issues with dealer using the unit. P/P agreed to let the dealer return it. I received full credit. I dealt with a wonderful lady named Rosie that was an amazing help. Very professional.

Transmission itself shifts great and at the beginning customer service was replying instantly and very helpful. After I received the unit, post install there’s been a leak at the drain pan I have to keep an eye on while still waiting (it’s been weeks) for a confirmation email on if it’s okay to replace the gasket with an OEM gasket. Haven’t had any other problems otherwise but it’s weird that they just gave up communication post delivery. Love it otherwise.
