Potamaki Beach Hotel Reviews

Very Poor hotel in dire need to a full refurbishment I have to say this is my first experience of Greece, this hotel lets Greece Down. Room was extremely basic and tired, mould all around the shower, the bathroom got flooded with a half inch of water every time you utilised any kind of water, Air con unit sounded like an plane outside and inside like a grandfather clock, constantly clicking. Tried without it and leaving the door slightly at the top and we got bitten to bits by mosquitos due to the position of our room, overlooking what looked like overgrown wasteland, sadly a bite on my leg became infected and had to take antibiotics for 6 days and couldn't walk for 3. We were overlooked by the back of the pool with people looking up into our room, had to put towels on the balcony to block. We asked 3 times to be moved and on the 4th day told to come back again, gave up. The pool around the sides smelt dreadful like stagnent water, so much so a young lady got in and I heard her say it's smelly, didn't see them again for the rest of our holiday. On the last day sat waiting to be picked up in reception heard another guest complaining about their room and the receptionist told them that they could be put on the list but there was a waiting list to be moved, that to me speaks volumes. The pictures on the website are mainly of the suites which cost about £800 more to stay in. Will not be going back sadly and definately would not recommend.

Everything is close restaurants,shops,car rental Nice hotel on the beach. Very nice people . Room what we got was silver moon ,was comfortable and big . After renovation I guess. No balcony but it's wasn't bad. With a pool and beach we not spending much time on the room. some parties every second day on the bar.
