Seems like we dodged a bullet avoiding them. They stopped doing all work our pool builder told us. When we visited Omni it as also sketch. They had all the doors locked and needed to be unlocked to leave after our presentation. Now makes sense why. Probably to keep people out from trying to get someone to get to their money back.
Do NOT use this company. Zero STARS. Spare you all the details, just know our experience is like most of the other current customers providing google reviews. Omnia is not able to finish any of their existing projects right now and owe a lot of people refunds for failure to perform. We have spent quite a bit of money to finish our project with other vendors. Omnia will not honor their warranty to correct items that remain incorrect from the build. Requests for communication are not responded to. Save yourself the hassle and go with ANYONE else to build your pool.
Jason the owner of Omnia Outdoors took our money, never finished the pool, and then acted like we should have known that investing in a pool with Omnia was like buying stock in a Ponzi scheme. Jason will take the deposits, take your draws, and then somehow be out of money. Do yourself a favor and hire a reputable pool company, and not Omnia. I will break down the entire experience:
1) Contracts and deposit - signed contract and made deposit Feb 24'
2) Excavation/ Rebar/ Gunnite- All of these phases had a draw before starting them, which was on the contract, these phases went quickly and we were ready for tile/rock/decking in May.
3) Tile & Rock work - draws made, tile was partially installed, and rock was delivered for waterfall. Nothing else was done for a few weeks.
4) Decking - Draw was taken, and I was told for weeks that the concrete contractors were backed up and that was the delay, (actually the concrete subs were unpaid from previous work, so none would work with them), being in construction my self I offered up my concrete guy. My contractor H Brand Construction went down and met with Jason and was hired to do our decking, wasn't given plans, & I had to basically set the decking out for the concrete guys... Shocker H Brand was left high and dry after doing the work and I ended up have to pay them again myself.
Decking was completed and the rock work commenced 1 full month after the rock was delivered. The rock workers got no plans, and no guidance on what was supposed to be done, & July 10th, 2024 they finished working on the waterfall.
5) Equipment- all has been paid for, but was not ordered by Omnia and was not delivered.
6)Furniture-Omnia has this other little scam where they "include" a furniture allowance. This part of the scam is lead by Jason's wife/girlfriend Jackie Schielein who operates Omnia Lifestyles. Even though that was a built in part of the contract, and paid for in the draws, Jackie after months of telling my wife that she would have the furniture in hand next week, refunded our $274.00 overage charge and refused to deliver the furniture, because & I quote "Omnia has not paid me, so I will not release the furniture"
So $3500 furniture allowance was stolen as well.
7)Plaster- Have no update here because after waiting since May for any actions to be completed on my pool, on Friday August 23rd, 2024 Jason told me to move on with someone else to finish the pool. Then proceeded to scream at me over the phone and tell me that he was not an economic forecaster and couldn't have seen the inflation, and lowered sales coming. This part is laughable, because Jason's acts as though we bought stock in his company, and our returns just aren't there. NO JASON WE PAID YOU UPWARDS OF $150,000 + AND YOU STRUNG US ALONG FOR 3 FULL MONTHS WITH NOTHING GETTING DONE ON OUR PROJECT. This whole time Jason kept giving me updates on his investor, that is going to inject funds to his company, well if the company was run 1/2 way decently, you wouldn't need investors to inject cash to finish projects that are left partially completed when they have been pretty much completely paid for.
All in all, I am only stating all these facts to help other families not have to go through the mess we have been forced to deal with by making the mistake of hiring Omnia Outdoors and Jason Daugherty to build a pool.
In the interest of transparency, Jason has said he will re-imburse us for what it cost to finish the pool, if that happens without going to court I will update this review at that time.
Don't do it! After eight months and being fully paid up, they still have not finished the pool and have gone radio silent. I have had to bring in my own subs to finish out. I also am aware of two subs who have not been paid by them, one of whom has placed a lien on our home.
We wanted a small pool with a large spa integrated into our existing landscaping. Process started slow (the PM quit). Jason and Donald made sure we got back on track. 6 months later and we were enjoying our pool. With several years in the landscaping industry I can say their crews are fantastic. They followed through and delivered as promised. It’s been completed for 3 months and we are glad we used them.

Update 6/18/24....I want to recognize Omnia for their customer service once again. My pool and outdoor kitchen have been finished for almost 4 years now, and recently had a small issue with my one of my appliances. They addressed the issue without question, just "we will take care of it" and they did, quickly. I appreciate their commitment to making their customers happy, even after the job is done. If your thinking about building a pool, consider Omnia. Not only do they design and build a great pool and outdoor space, they also take care of you after the process is done.
Highly recommend Omnia if you are in the market to build your pool and outdoor space. Quality work and materials along with great customer service throughout the process. Bill and Jason are great to work with and I appreciated their attention to our project, along with rest of their staff .
The build was basically good except that my husband had to manage the project because their project managers weren’t fully engaged. Then we had some quality issues that they were slow to address. And finally after less than 3 years, major decisions made by Omnia and their contractors look to cost us several thousand dollars (specifically they ignored building code and placed pool equipment too close to propane tank and now propane company won’t fill out tank). I’m glad we discovered this before winter or we would be in trouble. When this was brought to their attention, they will not resolve this issue even though we were not responsible for equipment placement. Do not make the same mistake and trust Omnia with your greatest investment, your home.
Omnia Outdoors should have a warning sign on their website “customer beware.” If you are looking for a company that will take your money then leave you hanging with unfinished items this is the company for you.
The process will start off smooth then it’s all downhill from there. I started the pool/spa building process in Mar of 2023, it is now Mar of 2024 and I still have pool/spa light and plaster issues since July of 2023 (they were aware). I called several times only to get we will can you back this afternoon, they call back to say they are setting up appts, and then weeks go by with nothing. Then I call again only to get the same repeated cycle. I think they do these so items will be out of warranty and they don’t have to fix the issues.
In addition, they cannot keep staff it’s like a revolving door. In a 4 month period I had to deal with 4 different people and most of the time I had to explain what still needed to be done because they did not know.
I did not want to file a complaint with the better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General‘s office but it seems as though that’s what I will be doing.
I gave them 1 star only because I wanted to give them credit for the start of the project design and initial communication. But when it comes to honest professional business practices they would get below zero.
If anyone wants additional more detailed information please feel free to reach out as I have no problem with providing my documented communications and proof of the other things that I did not mention in this post.

I came in to discuss how I wanted my pool to look, and get ideas. I had some pictures, but wasn't 100%. Samantha was very friendly when I first walked in. After looking at my pictures they helped me come up with an amazing pool design. They are even doing landscaping on my yard. My little oasis is my favorite place to be.
