I had a fantastic experience with Pool Builders, Inc. They recently completed a newly pool built, and the results were better than we imagined. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, the entire team was professional, punctual, and easy to work with.
What impressed me most was their attention to detail and clear communication throughout the project. They kept us updated every step of the way, finished on schedule, and made sure we were completely happy with the results even after completion.

Pool Builders built my pool 40 years years ago and and they have also built pools for my daughters. I had to replace a small plastic cap for an umbrella holder in my daughters pool step after 20 years. I went to Pool Builders and they still had the part I needed. It's great to deal with people in business so long. I continue to recommend them to friends
We have only the greatest experience possible with PBI. John Delray was our first contact and the entire project was completed from start to finish plus. Living in a new community and the rules and requirements were all known and understood and followed. The employees were professional and the best. We love our pool and hot tub and sundeck and our dogs are a big part of it. Maverick and Elon own it.
For me I don’t 100% recommend this pool builder . Since from beginning the conversation is not very well ! The sealer give me lower price take me to the office to sit talk, but he let me add this add that , and tell me that is very important. Actually when the pool down I feel the sun bar is really don’t need at all . And about the pool size I asked the designer many time he never give me a confirm results, he designed a deck from my house pavilion 14 feet far , take me very confused I short to 11.5 feet finally but still feel the deck too bigger. I asked him for my bigger backyard what size is better, and he never answered me . I just always google check . That was all designed by me not for any value idea from the company. And the designer doesn’t have house doesn’t have any experience about a pool use . My fool design from beginning to end all design by myself. Very sad . And actually smaller than I hope .by the way the designer not only bad experience but also bad personality he complain I change my design and terrorize me if change one more will add money ! Why he didn’t think about what reason always change design it is his responsibility! Bad design with helpless owner 🥲

Most customers are mutually involved in the design planning to make certain that their needs are met in design and placement of pool. Once approved and signed by homeowner, the plans are drawn up and permits are submitted to the building department.

Pool builders did a phenomenal job on our pool. From beginning to end, Daylin (our project manager) was extremely transparent on what to expect every week throughout our building process. All of the steps and processes throughout our build were seamless and went off without a hitch! We are so happy with how our pool came out and we hope to have many memories in our new backyard! Thank you again PBI for making our pool dreams a reality!! I would highly recommend them if you are in the hunt for a pool construction company!
We were new to Florida and knew zero about pools. A neighbor referred us to Pool Builders and after interviewing a few contractors we went with PB. The process was streamlined and not overwhelming! We had choices to make but they really held our hands and guided us!! John our salesperson was amazing! Daylin our project manager was perfect, she communicated every step of the way. She answered questions and was very helpful. We are very happy with the results and know that PB is a quality company that partners with you and has a great reputation!
Pool Builders was great to work with- specifically Daylin. We had a more difficult situation and she was always available to assist. The pool was installed in a very timely manor. Our property manager said she has never seen a pool installed this quickly. Manny was also great & responsive when we needed help.
Very positive experience with pool builders. They have done nearly 40 pools in our community and now I know why. Everyone was great, sales guy John, construction manager DJ and the very best was our project coordinator Daylin. She was my daily contact, she was very responsive, always answers to my many questions almost immediately. All the onsite workers and contractors were great too, very personable and respectful of our property and neighbors property. The finished product is beautiful!! I would highly recommend Pool Builders, Inc!
From day one until the very end, I felt very comfortable working with David. It’s rare nowadays to find a salesperson who stays involved and supportive throughout the entire process, most just sell and disappear.
It would be unrealistic to say everything goes smoothly all the time; setbacks can happen. To those reading this review, I highly recommend that you stay actively involved in your project: understand each stage, know the teams and points of contact, and above all, stay informed through your local city portal. That way, everyone works together as a team. We’re all human, and mutual support throughout the process makes a big difference.
Of course, I can’t yet speak to durability, warranty response, or long-term performance since we’ve only just started using our pool, but I’ll be sure to update this review down the line.

I highly recommend reaching out to Lawrence Simmons for a design & quote. He knows everything about pools and will help you decide on the many options available. He is incredibly patient and will even render a 3D design which is very important on such a big purchase.
PBI has been in business a long time and you can tell they know what they are doing and will stand behind their product when it’s complete. We found the process much faster than anticipated. We began our dig the day after Memorial Day 2024 and were hoping to be done with everything before Thanksgiving and my family’s arrival. Well we were swimming before the end of August! (Shout out to Daylin for her scheduling magic!)
Our backyard and pool is really a dream come true for us. PBI used our backyard in their Spring 2025 ad.
If you're a patient person who don't mind bad communication and bad timely service this company is for you... otherwise don't waste your time. within a one week time span we got a quote a drawing a payment plan and a contract we made our deposit and all was well. This was March 2021. Six month had passed and we barely had communications with them. they never checked in to keep us posted on where the progress was I had to call them and they never had any information at the time just that they were waiting for the permit. After consistently calling every other month or a few weeks to get an update we would hear the same story waiting for the permit waiting for the permit. David was who I was communicating all this time. About 8 to 9 months in I finally got a hold of David after not speaking for a while only to find out he was out of the country. So the whole time they were buying time. A year passed by and all that was excuses David was the person who was dealing with everything for us come to find out he was out of the country And they were just buying time. Summer of 2022 My family and I were We got a phone call saying that they were ready to proceed with the pool I advised them that we were out of the country and won't be in town to go This a month or so later we got a letter stated that they will no longer be able to continue with building the pool because we were not available when they were ready. Now last week in April 2025 they sent a letter that they will no longer be able to continue with the building our pool I sincerely would like our deposit back this makes absolutely no sense...

We would like to clarify the situation regarding the pool construction project and our communications. We initially submitted the permits on June 23rd, 2021 once we had received all the necessary paperwork from you. On July 6, 2021 the Landscape Dept had placed the permit on hold at which time we forwarded the information to you for corrections. It wasn't until January 6, 2022 after multiple attempts from the office staff along with your sales representative that we finally received the paperwork from your landscaper/arborist for submittal. After several denials from landscaping, the permit was finally approved for issuance on July 12th, 2022. Multiple attempts were made to schedule the construction thereafter. Unfortunately, we did not receive any response to our communications, which led us to cancel the contract as of October 5, 2022. The cancellation was communicated to you via email on that date. It is important to note that after the cancellation, we received no further communication from you for a period of over two and a half years. It was only upon the city's request to send a certified letter for permit record purposes that we heard from you regarding the matter. While we understand there may have been confusion, we must respectfully disagree with the assertion that the communication was lacking on our end. We took all necessary steps to inform you of our actions and proceeded in accordance with the contractual terms.

I am not a customer but watched a project destroy the nearby private areas and take well over 6 months. I feel so bad for the homeowners!

We looked into your concerns and this specific project was under construction for exactly 4 months from start to completion which is standard for this size of a job.
