My boyfriend and I had an amazing weekend in the cottage. It was very cozy and kept lovely and clean. We loved the area as it’s great for walking and close to Llangollen and other nice towns. Thanks for a lovely visit! 😁

My partner and I had a lovely stay here for 2 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Sharon and David are perfect hosts. Will be coming back here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Stunning scenery, tranquil location, immaculate, cosy cabin and hot tub! Sharon and David were brilliant hosts who could not do enough for us. The perfect weekend away, could not recommend enough.

We stayed in the log cabin and it was such a lovely relaxing stay and the hosts were very kind and accommodating, would love to return ♥️

We cannot recommend Pen y Fedw Cottage highly enough. Such a tranquil and peaceful get away that has everything you could possibly need to switch off and relax. The setting is exquisite, cottage fully equipped and the hot tub melts your cares away. The bird life and views are a treat for the eye. Owners Sharon and Dave are a delight too. Nearby if you need but in no way intrusive. Knowledgeable and friendly they offered excellent recommendations for dining, walks, days out and more. They made our stay all the more special. We hope to visit again very soon!

What can we say about this place, it is beyond beautiful, we stayed in the cottage for 3 nights and had the most blissful and relaxing stay. Sharon and David you are amazing and are such beautiful hosts, you're welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, beyond grateful for you helping with our flat tyre!!! Also Sharon's scones are delicious and a lovely treat if she's made some. The bed is really comfortable, cottage is clean and well equipped with everything you need. The hot tub is excellent with views for days.... you wake up to the sheep and cows in the field next door and have so many gorgeous birds on the bird feeder to watch. Honestly couldn't recommend this place enough and will definitely be back. Chirk castle and the iron works are fab places to visit nearby and the Swan Inn pub does a lovely Roast dinner. Me and my partner and little dog arrived for our anniversary. It’s such a special time coming up to Christmas and we love to get away for a chill and the lodge was perfect. So relaxing and peaceful and cozy with beautiful surroundings and hot tub and lovely scenery for walks and very close by to Llangollen. Sharon and David were perfect hosts so pleasant and helpful in every way.

Absolutely Gorgeous stay !! Sharon and David made us feel right at home from the very beginning and provided great suggestions for places to eat and activities to do. The cabin was lovely and clean when we arrived, exactly as described, the bed was comfy and there is great water pressure in the shower. The views around the cabin are amazing and we even had the pleasure of the meeting the local farmers cows 🐄. The 2 closest towns are very accessible and are only a short drive of the cabin, there is also an aldi 20 minute drive away which is great for a big food shop. As listed there is no wifi which ended up being a very freeing experience for us but there is no service after you leave chirk (could have just been our mobile provider, we’re both with vodaphone) which means no contact until you drive back. Would 100% recommend staying here if you’re looking for a cosy cabin trip and we cannot thank Sharon and David enough for our wonderful trip x

Stayed hear Thursday to Sunday and what can I say it's so beautiful the area is so peaceful and quite just what you need for a get away hot tub is our of this world so clean and chilled log cabin was that clean looked new thankyou to Sharon and David the best owners I have ever met they welcomed us with a nice hamper and fresh jam see you agen soon

Marvellous place, gorgeous views, (check pic for the one from the sink!)beautiful location and very friendly hosts. Handy for Pontcysyllte and Chirk aqueducts, Llangollen and surrounding area. Some great roads for cycling (hilly) and excellent walks. Cabin very cosy and hot tub was great, very highly recommended 😃

Highly recommended, we had a great couple of night away in a very peaceful surroundings. The log cabin we stayed in was so cosy and comfortable. And the hot tub is of course and added bonus! Sharon and David were amazing hosts, couldn’t ask for better, greeted with delicious scones and the jams are amazing too!!

Such a beautiful and lovely location and log cabin. We have had an amazing, relaxing couple of days Sharon and Dave are excellent hosts, so welcoming and helpful. The cabin was lovely and clean and only a 20 minute drive to Llangollen town centre. P.s Sharon’s homemade strawberry jam is delicious

Perfect for a romantic weekend away, surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery. Sharon and David were amazing hosts with fantastic food recommendations and directions. Cabin is nice and comfortable with ample amenities, cannot recommend enough

Wonderful stay,excellent location to enjoy some time out from a busy life style, close to areas to explore! Great food and coffee places 10/15 mins away! Really enjoyed our stay! Wish we booked it for longer!!

Lovely location overlooking a beautiful view. Generous size hot tub for a truly relaxing stay. Lots of local things to enjoy. Excellent attentive hosts.

Pen & Fedw Cottage is the most perfect little get away! Depending on your network provider there is no signal and no WiFi which for me and my husband was just prefect it was so pure to the mind and we both felt free! In the middle of no where great view great little cottage! If you do need WiFi Sharron and Dave do have it and you are welcome to connect to theirs if needs be but honestly for us there was no point! The bed was firm but very comfy helped my back alot! The hot tub was super relaxing best one I've been in! The kitchen and living were very cosy and it was spotless! Sharron and Dave were just perfect nothing bad to say about either of them! Their service was fantastic so welcoming got treated like family! I felt sad leaving as I was so at home! Honestly it was beautiful! Super quiet (apart from the sheep 😂) there's a bird feeder Infront of the window in the living room and wow the amount of birds we saw! Get this we even saw three woodpeckers how incredible! All I will say is what was advised please bring your own towels and bath robes yes they provide towels but it's alot easier to use Ur own Sharron and Dave but a lot of hard work into the cottage and it's nice if we can all respect them!
