I purchased a new home and wanted to get a third-party inspection done. On the phone call, I felt the first inspector was a little brief and dismissive so I called the owner back named hitch and he gave me another inspector who did an amazing job. There were some key things that he discovered that would have opened me up to damage down the line. This was money well spent, and I am very pleased. I would definitely use them again.

Peach state, home inspections, wonderful company to work with. The inspection that I got on my new home that I'm planning on purchasing was detailed more than I expected great insight. Looked at absolutely everything you can think of I would trust them with any other property and advise everybody to look at this. And absolutely go with this company. They're reasonable. They work with you and they are very pleasant to talk with again a great company.

Charles is VERY thorough . I shadowed him as we went everywhere throughout the house both inside and outside TWICE. He pointed out any issues that were a problem or might become a problem. The Peachstate inspection report was a useful complete summary with notes of that tour. I personally recommend them highly.

Update 7/21/26 - from 5 down to . We had another inspection conducted by this company, this time not so great of an experience. The inspectors are contractors working with Peach State Home Inspections. The contractor/inspector neglected to inform us of some very costly and unsafe issues with the home (4 broken windows, electrical outlets dated and burnt out requiring replacement).
We only discovered these issues after purchasing the property. The owner, Hitch, was notified and said he’d look into it and get back to us but never did. Our realtor outreached and was directed to take it up with the contractor and to make a claim with their insurance directly, which was very disappointing and surprising since this is an inspection company and accountability should be part of the process. We had such a great rapport with the other property when things went well.
We are new home owners and relied on this company for a thorough assessment. We live and learn. I sadly no longer recommend this company for home inspection.
4/2026 - Professional and courteous service! Thorough inspection with great communication throughout the process by both the owner and the inspector! Detailed findings that helped us make an informed decision. Excellent!

One star, and only because zero isn't an option. I'm a licensed Realtor and was the listing agent on a recent transaction Peach State inspected. Their inspector was unable to access the crawlspace, yet made no attempt to call or message me to resolve it, even though I was reachable the entire day. Instead, the buyer was simply charged a re-inspection fee for a second visit. A single phone call would have solved this in minutes.
When the buyer's agent and I followed up to understand what happened, the experience went from frustrating to unprofessional. We each spoke with Hitch separately, and both of us came away troubled. In my experience, he repeatedly cut me off, talked over me, and spoke in a tone I found aggressive rather than professional. Two licensed agents, two separate conversations, the same result.
I reached out in good faith, twice, hoping to resolve both the fee and the way we'd been treated. I never received a response and no attempt was made to make it right. I can't recommend a company that handles a simple access issue this way and then declines to address legitimate concerns. Communication and professionalism matter, and unfortunately both were missing here.
This is incredibly disappointing.
Excellent Service, inspector was kind, on time, and very helpful in telling me what the house lacked and what it meant. Would absolutely recommend.

Scheduling was seamless and he was able to come the next day. The inspector was friendly and he answered all my questions, without making me feel like I was a nuisance. This is the third time I've used them in the last few months. The first two times I had the same inspector. This time he couldn't come and someone else came out. The report was not as detailed and thorough as the first two times. He had a few things that should have been major as just general, like water leaks and electrical. Things the other guy would have noted as safety issues based off the previous experience I had with him.

Cheapest price around and very detailed inspection! When I was quoted I expected to hear very minimal information back. But when I got my inspection report back, even the smallest details were noted. And they were very informative on their phone calls on their processes! 100% recommend to ANYONE!

The inspector was arrogant, tried to rush the inspection then bailed from the crawlspace because he was scared, I've been under plenty of homes in far worse shape than this one, I would not recommend peach state inspections

Floor system badly rotted and deteriorated. Unsafe to inspect.
Peach State Home inspections are great! Mr Hitch Heslen called me directly and took his time to explain the process and make sure we understood everything. And Chris Hunter provided a detailed report to show us what was going on with our house.

I've had an inspection done in the past so I know what I should have seen occur. This place was not great and provided no value. I emailed their owner about things that they missed (obvious hvac issues) and how they spent the majority of their time flipping light switches to see if the lights worked (not kidding) but never received a response
The inspector was there earlier than expected already checking the property he explained to me every single detail didn’t have a problem would recommend to anyone.
