I stopped in for a quick dinner after work and had a lovely meal! The basic beef pho was very nice and I took half home - the portion was very generous, especially for the price. It’s a great deal considering the typical cost of food in the area. The service was attentive and the man and woman that were working there were very kind. I also enjoyed the atmosphere!
Soup is too small for the price. Oxtail soup is all bones and has very little meat on them. You will be chomping on sharp jagged bones that can easily damage your teeth to get the small bits of meat they leave on them. Have had much better oxtail soup where the meat is very soft and just falls off the bone.
A very laid back restaurant and nice welcoming service. The Vietnamese food here is good and savory, I love the PHO and the VERMICELLI SALAD & SPRING ROLLS WITH TJE GRILLED BEEF which was amazing and special, the GREEN MANGO 🥭SALAD , wasn’t as it should be, the Mango 🥭 was ripe and it’s like serving fruit salad with chicken. So stick to the PHO and other dishes 🪬
What an incredible place! We accidentally walked by and came inside to have a look at the menu, everything was perfect!!! I highly recommend trying their Pho soup and home made dumplings.
The staff was also very nice and helpful and explained all the dishes to us :)
I definitely recommend !
this is a very traditional Vietnamese restaurant, with a menu not just pho and bann Mi, but more diverse options from northern, central and southern vietnam. they also serve traditional vietnamese coffee is a must try.
The restaurant is very traditional, the oldest viet restaurant in NYC. the staff there speaks Vietnamese. we got seated right away during lunch time on the weekend, it was not busy at all. service is fast
i had the bún bò huế which is a central Vietnam dish with spicy, salty, and savory flavors. it comes with thick and round vermicelli noodle, loaded with flavor. Make sure to try their grill pork chop, is well marinated with lemongrass and sweetness to it.
