☺ Tranquil was ideally located to access Maleny on foot as well as easily access other villages on the mountain.
Barb and Gregg were amazing hosts and the villas were definitely 5 star!
Highly recommend

Romantic weekend in a laid back, pretty, hinterland town staying in a beautiful self contained villa
☺ The villa was super quiet, comfortable and spacious with a balcony that was private and over looked a pretty, treelined creek. It was an easy walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants. Even though we didn't opt for breakfast to be included, there was a welcome basket that included a loaf of sour dough, some local butter, vegemite, jam, cookies and some milk and yoghurt in the fridge as well as tea and coffee pods. The staff were really friendly and helpful too.
☹ There was no hotplate in the kitchenette (we gave this feedback and they said they'll look into supplying the units with one) so we cooked on the bbq without realising there was a cleaning fee. Apparently it was written in the folder but I didn't read it. Other than that the place was fantastic

☹ The sitting in the veranda with such a lovely place to be it would have been nice to sit on a comfortable chair.

The Name should be Tranquil, Serene and Blissful getaway on Obi
☺ I stayed at the accommodation with my son and his family, it was fabulous the view from the chalet was beautiful - very tranquil.
The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay-we roasted marshmallows on an open fire that was timed to perfection,
We will certainly be returning for a longer stay.
☹ The one and only thing I can complain about was I didn't sleep very well because I was on a sofa bed- on second thoughts it was because I slept with a grandchild, the sofa bed was comfy lol

Location, location... Isn't that what they say! + Barb & Greg were great hosts.
☺ The location was quite private, with the rear deck perched amongst the rainforest trees, and the front of each accomodation pod hidden by the tall neatly pruned hedge.
For this trip we opted not to lug all and sundry with us as there was an ample selection of grocery stores, cafes and pub.. within easy walking distance.
We find the eclectic, casual vibe of Maleny quite appealing, particularly in the cooler months, and so we will be back!
☹ These elevated apartment pods have solid foundations, but cross bracing on the galvanised vertical supports have been engineered to allow movement, and so our sliding robe doors rattled a little when walking around the unit. A neatly folded cloth wedged in the right spot soon fixed this.

☺ Very clean, easy access and comfortable room and features. Toddler loved bat watching from the balcony.
☹ Even though the location was close to a lot of the things I didn't like the mechanics right by the entrance and with a young toddler who loves to run and explore I was worried about that road.

The location is tucked away and glad your toddler enjoyed the environment. The zoning for the area is interesting and yes you will to be careful with a toddler when leaving the property to walk up town.
