I am somewhat shocked by this if I’m honest and little upset so I’m here to put across our side of the story.

You placed your order back on the 17th of January and paid us a £2,000 deposit. normally this is 50% so I reduced this to help you out. We held the stock you ordered for 4 months and then out of blue you asked if you could cancel the order. This had nothing to do with the flooring but circumstances changing on site. I said you could, but you would lose your £2k deposit. I don’t know of any other companies that would have done anything different given the fact we held the order for so long. The purpose of a deposit is to reserve an item otherwise why pay a deposit in the first place?

You purchased an AB Prime grade floor as detailed below so I’m not sure what you mean about not being prime. The boxes have always said AB, but this means AB Prime as it’s the way the boxes are designed. We discussed this on the phone when you took the delivery last week. The flooring you had delivered was the exact same flooring you looked at and ordered in store. This is a premium Prime AB grade floor and a product I have been selling for over 20 years without one problem.

We pride ourselves on our customers service and great reviews so it’s really upsetting to see this.

Unfortunately, I can’t remove this review, which is frustrating, but I can defend our reputation.
