Nurx outsources their "doctors" to eastern Europe where healthcare is dirt cheap. That's fine for a soft dick but a "psychiatrist" like Gabriella Farkas is lethal. For goodness sakes find good, legitimate healthcare

Used nurx for years, now looking for something else! Because I get once and while headaches (twice a year) that haven’t changed since being on the medication the nurx doctor says my combo pill is unsafe for me because of estrogen. She says I have migraines with aura. I have pmdd and acne. Yaz generic helps pmdd. Now doesn’t want to give me my medication or a refund! I’ve used nurx for years but I have to find something else.

Just like everyone else, poor customer support. Takes way too long to reply to messages in the app. I was prescribed birth control on **********, it shipped the same day, but because of a back up at a local post office in a nearby state, the prescription has been sitting on a truck in below freezing temperatures since January 16. So, today January 22, I called and spoke with someone who said they would transfer future prescriptions to my local pharmacy, which has not happened yet in the 8 hours that I spoke to them. But, I am unwilling and uncomfortable taking prescription medicine that has been out of the recommended temperature range for so long. They dont care about the patients. They just want to get the money from insurance companies for prescriptions or charge people out of pocket. Despicable.

I was not given any prior notice about the upcoming shipment, leaving me without an opportunity to cancel it. My card was charged, and they have declined to issue a refund.

Nurx has failed me. I have had my birth control prescription with them for a year. It came time to renew for the next year, I answered all of their questions and have yet to hear a response from them. They requested I send them a message if I had less than one week of birth control left which I did. I am now completely out of birth control and havent heard a single word from them about it. So much for being the easy way to get medication!!! They clearly do not care about their patients.

Terrible update The company is great but the most recent update to the app is absolutely terrible. Took away the ability to check any of your subscriptions easily. What a terrible update.. even the website is of no help.

Haven’t responded to me in weeks I use this app for acne medications, and I have been due for a refill since 12/27 and today is 1/15. The providers on the app haven’t sent me a message since 1/10, and are not responding to my refill requests. Absolutely unacceptable and will be moving to another provider.

Inconsistent stocking If you need birth control quickly, this app is a convenient option, but BE WARNED - the service will not always be able to get the name-brand medication which you request. Out of eight monthly shipments, I only received the name brand birth control pill which I requested four times. After further research and consultation with a gynecologist, I discovered that switching between name-brand and off-brands, whether they have the same “active ingredients” or not, is highly likely to give you negative side effects (which I unknowingly endured the entire time). That being said, Nurx had warned me that I would occasionally get generic substitutions but said that it didn’t matter because they had the same active ingredients. I’ve seen other reviews which had the same issue as me. Ultimately a revolutionary service which will be a great resource once they get their stocking more consistent. If you need an extremely specific prescription, it may not be for you.

Awful customer service They will make you wait more that 24+ hours for one single response on most days but they never forget to charge you or send an automated response if it’s regarding money. When it comes to actual service and inquiries for the doctors it’s anyone’s guess when they’ll respond. I’ve been with Nurx for over a year and my birth control, acne medication, and hair growth treatment from here. I’ve been trying to stick with it for the convenience, but I’m now considering switching to Hers or something. It’s getting ridiculous at this point. Edit: on on top of that, I ended up not receiving my medication, it says that it was delivered, but it was not and when reaching out to customer service, I couldn’t get in touch with anyone for days when I finally did they told me that there is nothing they could do about it if the medication gets lost, and since it was covered by insurance, I either have to pay out of pocket or wait 3 months for insurance to pay for it again. The customer service is just atrocious and it feels insulting to be honest. I’m no longer in support of them and I want my money back.

Nurx is a scam This company has turned into a site just here to scam patients in need. I was firstly over charged by $360 with two charges unrelated to the actual service or medication I was being provided. Not one representative online could explain why this has happened or even answer the question as to if and when those charges will be refunded. They approved my orders, made a shipment and then canceled that shipment. This was not fixed until I reached out 4 days later asking for an update on the shipment. Their response was that my order had just now shipped. I asked for any confirmation on when it would arrive and they've ignored me completely. Now I can finally see the shipment will in fact arrive after I already need the prescription. I've had to call in to have a single use order sent to a local pharmacy. This will I'm sure be many more additional charges. On top of all of the major issues with useless help online where automated responses are generated they've never once even attempted to bill my insurance. I confirmed this over the phone today with an employee from the company. The online customer service responded to me many times that if I have uploaded my insurance they will at a least attempt to bill it. It's uploaded and they could see my plan when I was talking to a person directly. On the phone she said she could see they've not once tried to bill my insurance and it's likely because I am being sent a 7 month supply which is typically denied. So they aren't even trying or letting me know there's a solution to getting things covered. I was told today most insurers only cover 3 months at a time. Never once have a asked for a larger supply to force myself to pay out of pocket! This was something they decided and have cost me so much money over time by lying right to my face. What a scam! Use anyone else who is actually working to support patients and all of their needs!

HORRIBLE!! I wish I could rate them a zero. I recently had to put my mom in a nursing home and have been feeling really depressed about it. I read about Nurx and it sounded great and convenient, so thought I’d give it a try. I was sooo wrong. They were not great. As a health care professional, your company should not be in business imo. I filled out their assessment form, which is the standard depression survey. I’ve completed in the past. I’m not suicidal and other than when I was a teenager, have never considered hurting myself. However, that doesn’t mean my brain doesn’t sometimes tell me I’m not worthy of being around. I’m 50 yrs old now, and not a teenager. I’m well-educated, especially in psychiatry and psychology, and know that a depressed brain lies. I use my CBT skills to counteract it; however an SSRI can be a useful tool in addition to CBT. I guess the fact that I was honest on the assessment form and marked that I sometimes feel like life isn’t worth living (I can’t remember the exact wording) was enough for Nurx to determine I’m not a good fit to be prescribed an SSRI. I’ve taken them in the past, and they are quite helpful. I’m in therapy, and I listed that on the assessment form. If you are depressed, find help elsewhere. Nurx will just waste your time. I spent an hour or two completing everything for them.

******** customer service. Horrible interaction and lack of any semblance of professionalism typical of the field. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'd rather chew cat turds with litter and thumbtacks the undergo. My nurse practitioner was a moron and didn't read any of my answers I was billed for. Waited days for a response only to be asked the same questions already answered in greater detail in my intake questionnaire. It's clearly a scam. As a veteran, I went there because the broken VA healthcare system is redirecting funds to migrants so veterans like me have been without care since August. When we try to find our meds on our own, we fall victim to predatory scammers like Nurx

Quality of care subpar. I’ve been waiting two weeks for my acne medication to be submitted because the provider sent me a message addressed to a name that was not mine, and I questioned it. A “system glitch” caused my birth control not to ship in November 2024. The messaging platform is chaotic if you have multiple requests/needs, response time abysmal. I’m off of medication for weeks at a time due to their horrible processes, which is obviously not good. Searching for a new option now.

they did not send birth control hi! i started birth control through nurx to help with my cramps, but after 2 months, they stopped ordering my birth control. i was never sent a message or any notification informing me of this, and i messaged through the app and called, and no one was able to help me. when i called, i was told i would receive a call back from someone that could help, but i never received this. the concept of nurx is good, but its not worth it. just use planned parenthood, or another service.

Terrible customer service I had an account with Nurx for a few months and needed to pause my prescription, which they acknowledged was okay to do, and now that I am ready to resume, I have to pay the $40 fee again. This is ridiculous and was NOT disclosed to me before this. Would not recommend this service

Amazing 4.5/5 (needs just one tweak) I have been tracking my cycles and using this for birth control for a couple of years now. It’s fast, easy and inexpensive. One thing I do truly wish there was-a section for notes in cycle/pill tracking-I would love to be able to track my moods and cycles more in depth and all in one place, especially being someone with irregular flow. The ONLY reason it is 4.5/5 stars for me.

Overpriced medication with little to no support on their app. The messages I did receive were worthless automated messages from bots, clearly. They also falsely advertise their prices on social media. They are advertising a 30$ consultation, but I was charged $40. Also they advertise their ********* is $90 for 3 month supply, and you can get this MUCH cheaper on ****** through their ******************** Save your money. They also make it next to impossible to cancel your account. I am still waiting to hear back from their support team regarding cancelling my account.Clearly they have scaled too quickly without considering their customers.

Was great until they decided to not be as helpful I’ve ordered time-sensitive medicine through Nurx twice before with no problems. This third time, however, they decided to send my order to a temporarily closed pharmacy instead of sending it directly to me via my address like the previous two times. When I asked about it, they don’t give straightforward answers and almost a month later, my time-sensitive medicine is still not in my hands. Not going to be using Nurx again after this.

Apps fine but the company is a mess Like the title the app itself is fine now(had problems logging in for the longest time but that got resolved) but the company itself is a mess. They are constantly trying to send me a 3 month supply and charging me even though I got a 3 month supply the month before. At one point I had 7 packs just sitting around. I finally used everything and was supposed to get a 3 month supply on 12/12/24 but it did not get processed till 23 days later on 1/3/25. They can’t even give me an explanation of what happened and they are too busy blaming each other. They just keep saying be patient and someone will contact you shortly. It says the order is processing but if you click on the details it says it’s shipped but there is no shipping info nor did my card get charged. Communication is frustrating and lacking and rarely are problems fixed quickly. It’s better off getting your pills from a different company than dealing with the headaches with this one.
