Wonderful camper buying experience The entire process of finding our perfect camper was fantastic. After being recommended by a friend, we visited and were impressed right away. Set in the picturesque North Yorkshire countryside, the relaxed atmosphere and lack of pushy sales were refreshing. We had plenty of time to explore their excellent selection of campers and motorhomes. We’re thrilled with our purchase and can’t wait to pick it up next week to start making summer memories!

Misleading offers, beware! Go very careful with this organisation if you plan to sell your vehicle. They initially offer a highly inflated price to attract sellers, but when they visit to inspect your vehicle, they drastically reduce their offer by about 20% without clear justification. This practice feels misleading and wastes time.

From viewing them with Mario, to organising collection with Jo and the then the aftercare team, we've been astounded at the customer service. They were honest and happy to help with every concern we had and even went the extra mile to delivering the vehicle back to us, a whole 6 hour drive away, after a quick fix of some minor details we found during the warranty. We are so happy with our first ever choice and never felt pressured with any decision. We cant thank the team enough! Brilliant service.

Buyers Beware We purchased a motorhome from Northern Motorhomes in April 2025 for £15,000 and our experience has been deeply disappointing. Less than a year later, during a pre-MOT inspection, extensive structural corrosion was discovered requiring major welding repairs. Our independent welding specialist advised that the corrosion was long-standing and would not have developed during the period we had owned the vehicle. The damage was so significant that the vehicle was deemed unsafe and required five steel repair plates to be fabricated and welded in order to restore its structural integrity and make it roadworthy again. When collecting the motorhome, we were told that Northern Motorhomes had “blacked” / undersealed the underside for us prior to handover. It has since become apparent that the underside had been heavily coated, with serious corrosion present beneath. The blacking concealed the corrosion from both ourselves and the MOT garage until further investigation was carried out. Based on our experience, it raises serious concerns as to whether vehicles with known issues are being purchased and resold without proper repair or disclosure. We raised these concerns with the company immediately and gave them the opportunity to inspect the vehicle before repairs commenced. Although our complaint was acknowledged and we were told the matter would be discussed internally, no meaningful response was ever provided and no attempt was made to inspect the vehicle or resolve the matter. As a result, we were left with no option but to proceed with substantial repairs at our own expense in order to keep the vehicle safe and roadworthy. We are extremely disappointed not only with the condition in which this vehicle was sold to us, but also with the complete lack of after-sales support when serious issues were brought to their attention. I called in and came across a Salesman by the name of Mario, the only thing I new I wanted was the motorhome had to sleep 4, Mario showed me various different layouts, prices and indeed shapes nothing was to much trouble for him, since buying a van nothing is to much trouble just give them a call and they are there for you. Picked it up yesterday and felt really welcomed by everyone there and the extras we had asked to be done before collection had been. Great with communication will definitely be going back! Unprofessional and costly experience The staff were polite, but the quality of work was far below expectations despite agreeing on a sale. They acted unprofessionally and refused to return my full deposit, leaving me out of pocket by £500. Their lack of competence was frustrating, and I strongly recommend avoiding them.

Approached 4 sites like this. Very different experiences. NMB gave the highest valuation by far. Other sites were variable. One seemed decent but a lower valuation, another was very pushy and almost aggressive. I can name them if needed. Arranged a viewing, the assessor was very genuin. The communication with the company was very friendly and smooth ( Julie needs a mention) . Despite issues found with the van ( made me very annoyed with my hab inspector company) , I still got a fair price..(in excess of the other valuations). And no it wasn't a rip off..I had my own independent expert with me. From the moment the agreement was made it all went smoothly.. A driver arrived to collect ( shout out to Roy). Dvla was sorted anf tax refund turned up within a week. Based on my experience I would recommend this company for buying. No experiences of selling.
