I contacted Nitro Hauling for an auto shipping quote from NJ to OH. I was emailed the quote during the weekend. On Monday morning i called the office to proceed with booking and left a voicemail. I called the owner who answered all my questions and advised I wanted to go ahead and book. He said to call the office. I called the office and arranged booking details. I was to receive a contract via email and I asked for a link to pay deposit. I received the contract via email signed and completed. I did not receive link for payment. A couple hours later the owner called me to say they had to cancel my shipping. This was an inconvenience for me as I had already communicated arrangements. He said a business client request came through their automated system from the day before that conflicted with mine and they had to take that job. I was disappointed as Michael and team seemed nice and was not going to have to deal with a broker. I get the feeling the automated system has business connections that they prioritize over individuals. I think they need to make some improvements to the process for scheduling and finalizing bookings. It feels like a combination of manual and automated process but they are not connected well. He also said my booking was not complete because i did not pay yet but I never received a request for payment. I assumed my completed contract was good and they would honor.
