Visited trade counter and paid for product. Counter told me to go to yard where product would be loaded.
On leaving counter I was confronted by huge galvanised railings, behind which it appeared to be the yard. I stood by the gates to the yard for 3-4 minutes trying to get someone's attention. 2 -3 blokes looked at me through the railings but did nothing other than look at me then turn away.
I then thought I was in the wrong place so I drove round to the back of the counter. Turns out this was the deliveries access. It was locked like it was the Bank of England.
I then decided the previous gates at the front of the counter was the right place to be.
I drove back round and parked in front of what appeared to be a gate. No-one came to see me. I waited 2 -3 mins, then someone in a truck pulled up inside the gates, he was followed by a guy in hi-viz on foot, who unlocked gates to let driver of truck out. He then beckoned to me and I gave him Collection sheet. He said to wait in car park and they'd bring out my purchases. I did and they helped load boot of car.
What a mess! No signs, place locked like Bank of England..so customer unfriendly.
My advice.... don't waste your time going here, they obviously have no consideration for customers...go somewhere else. I will be as I need additional product. My time is important to me even if it's not to NST!!

Thank you for taking the time to write this review Steve. NST practises pedestrian and plant/vehicle separation for our customers safety. We hope you can understand that this must remain a priority. The " blokes " you refer to were in fact customers being loaded and our delivery truck was being let out of the HGV gates to the rear of the depot. I am very pleased to hear the yard staff picked your order and assisted in loading your car.
NST are happy to and often pick and pack orders in advance if customers call ahead, this can cut a 3-4 minute collection time down significantly.

I've never ever had anything less than great service here.
I popped in for a sleeper and the yard guys couidnt have been more helpful. I went back to buy more and again they make buying so easy, knowledgeable staff, clean premises too. They even helped to load my van. I've bought slabs and sleepers from them a few times and I wouidnt dream of going elsewhere.
Today while waiting a member of staff was spraying all office surfaces with anti bac. In these hard times they don't just offer great products at really good prices but they're looking after their customers too.
I really cannot recommend them highly enough.

My company has been purchasing and installing products from NS&T for years and you will not get better quality stone from any where else in the south of England. The service and product value is second to none and we have never had any issues with their stone what so ever. All products are stored, handled and delivered exceptionally well. Highly recommended. I also have to add a couple of reviews on here are ridiculously unfair and clearly written by people who don't have a clue about natural stone and how it works regarding colouring and calibration.

I had 12sq metres of Raveena sandstone patio paving leftover from our garden project and after calling the Portsmouth branch they were happy to collect and give me a refund. In return I purchased two 2 litres of sealer and some sleepers for my raised flower bed!

We had dealt with this company for limestone set slabs witch turned out to be excellent for value and good delivery.
...When coming to order 180sqm of natural block paving (special order) we was advised by there professionalizm pug them on to a concrete base.
The samples we was given was 50mm thick.
The 6000 bricks arrived with the thickness between 30mm to 95mm. When I aproched them about the issue They held no responabilty for them even thou the packaging states Thickness between 50-60mm.
They declined for us to return them and offered no help to resolve the issue.
We are now left with 40% that can't be used.
