Fall Birthday Weekend The cabin is beautiful - clean and new and spacious; nicer in persona than the description and photo's from the VRBO. We had 8 adults and did not feel crowded at all. Great views of Farm Lake from inside! The large dinning table allowed for several games to be played at the same time without interupting each other. Could have seated 12 easily for meals. All bedrooms are very large and spacious. Kitchen is arranged to easily cook meals. We all slept hard and very well, maybe due to NO noise from a loud furnace. This is because of the in-floor heating. Each bedroom does have a split system for backup heating/cooling that we didn't need. It is mentioned there are three bedrooms, but actually I would considered the loft a bedroom as it has three full size beds. Overall the place was very comfortable. YES I would highly recommend this place!

Moose Track Adventures has to be the friendliest place we've ever stayed, the family that runs it was wonderful and we hated to leave Joan and Jim. Their accommodations range from cozy, but beautifully-decorated 2-br cabins (with everything in just the right place), to their newest building, palatial showpiece that 10 people could easily share. They even have a little-used campsite and bathhouse for tenters. All the cottages are right on the water with good parking, dock space and a free canoe for each cottage. The WiFi was a nice bonus (thou some might not want it). We took advantage of the beautiful lake right there on two days, and that was after our 4-day guided canoe trip with one of their great guides. Speaking of their guided trips, they did an excellent job. They provided great recommendations for our trip - a friendly, experienced and skilled guide, plus clean, top-notch, lightweight gear and plenty of excellent food (even providing gluten-free). The guide was also a very good cook and pampered us. The only way we could have had a better time was if the wildlife lined up to have their photos taken!

Jim & Joan are amazing hosts! They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The resort itself is well-maintained, located right on Farm Lake, cabins have been updated, not far from downtown Ely but remote and quiet also. We loved staying here and hope to again!

My adult daughters and I wanted to stay near Ely for 2 nights in late September and we’re very glad we discovered Moose Track Adventures. The cabin was very nice and modern. The location is amazing. The cabin is a few steps away from Farm Lake and their dock and canoes make it easy to paddle into the BWCA. I highly recommend staying here.

Amy and I stayed in a Moose Track Adventures cabin on Farm Lake over four days in mid-September and loved the experience; it was everything I was hoping for. The cabin was perfect with a great lake view and dock and canoe. Natural setting but only 10 minutes or so from Ely and its restaurants and shopping. We did day hikes and canoe trips in the Ely area. The owners Jim and Joan are great hosts and gave us good advice about places to explore. One day they rented us a super light Kevlar canoe and put it on our vehicle for a paddle to see some pictographs in the BWCA. Would highly recommend them and their resort.

Fantastic experience! A great resort; quiet, clean, and tranquility on the water. Everything promised was fulfilled. We stayed in the Bear Paw Cabin. It was clean, updated, and comfortable. Very much appreciated the canoe, fire pit, charcoal grille that was included. Rented the 16 ft boat and it was in great shape, as was the pontoon. Jim and Joan (owners) are just so nice and accommodating. Moose Tracks exceeded our expectations and we already made a reservation for next year. Thank you again for a relaxing week.

We had a wonderful stay with our three generation family. The lake view was beautiful, the cabins were very clean and comfortable, and the hosts were cordial and helpful. This is a very family friendly place to vacation.
