Would highly recommend this company, easy to work with and contact, *****, our driver, was very careful with my car and as it was our first time doing this we were a bit nervous, but the price was fair and they did a great job. Save searching and use these people, very good at their job.

I never thought I would become the person that posts a vague negative review that makes me look crazy, but here we are. It will take me paragraphs to explain my encounter with attempting to use this highly rated company. If I could put negative stars I would. It's crazy that they are so highly rated on other platforms. As someone who has shipped my car multiple times with different carriers, I am not new to this process. I have had my vehicle damaged in transport, and I still enjoyed that experience far more than my encounter with Montway. I scheduled my order WEEKS in advance and they still couldn't provide a service meeting my needs. Every complaint was met with an excuse, or them explaining to me "their process" when I made my needs very clear and scheduled this service very far in advance. I even told their company I was willing to drive to different cities on BOTH ends of my auto transport to make the process easier. The lack of communication from them during the window of time my vehicle was supposed to be assigned a carrier was disappointing. On day 3 of the 5 day window they tell you to give them for " scheduling a carrier/ pickup" there wasn't anything , not even an automated text from them. Leading me to attempt to cancel my order. Every time you call them you have to get in line and wait on hold, OR talk to a different person in each department every time, there is no direct contacting anyone, making the process HORRIBLE as a customer if there are issues, and allows the company to not be held accountable for anything. Ultimately I went with another transport coordinator, and need to FIGHT with them over getting a full refund. I tried to cancel my order with Montway on Wednesday morning and instead of cancelling it like I asked in email and chat, a "Cancellation Supervisor "(Adrian?) called me and asked if I would wait for him to call me back so he could "pull some strings" and told me my drop off destination "wasn't desirable" - As of right now (Saturday) I am still waiting on his call. In the meantime I placed another request through a separate company. Then , more than a day later, a different CANCELLATION SUPERVISOR reached out to me telling me they could provide a driver AFTER the 5 day window I had set in my order, and argued with me about that "5 day window definition " and many other things. Also told me that because I had placed another request with another company that the driver would want more money at the rate of the other company request. I told her well I did try to cancel my order with Montway and move on so.... After a lot of back and forth, I desperately agreed to the later date, and driver, but then TWENTY MINUTES later, the second company called me with a driver ready to take my vehicle (as they promised) and I called Montway back IMMEDIATELY (like within 30 minutes of reluctantly telling her yes to the offer) and told her to cancel. They already charged my card 1500$ the full amount. Now I am fighting them to give me a full refund. Per their policy, they are trying to keep 250$ disregarding all of the other circumstances, because I "said yes" before asking to cancel.. Disregarding the fact that I had been talking to THE CANCELLATION DEPT, and I tried to cancel twice BEFORE the last ditch LATE transport that i "agreed" to for a period of 30 minutes. Tried to get a full refund by calling back , and I was told to email a generic email address, not provided a phone contact, and told that an "Escalation specialist " will "Call me within 15 minutes"... it's been 26 hours... nothing. literal nightmare.

I recommend going through a better company, this company caused me a lot of stress and more money in the long run. It was the most expensive quote and I thought it would come with higher service, but it did not. Some of the main issues the broker which is montway the truck had oversized tires. When the transport company showed up that they hired, they said that they needed an additional $300 because the truck was bigger than which is quite silly the length of the truck did not change because of the tire size or height of the truck. The first truck that was assigned for three different days said they would be coming the following day. The pick up location was at my grandfather's house so he would spend all day waiting at home and they would never show. Later on they finally canceled that driver I got a notification. Did not hear anything for about a week and randomly on a Sunday. I got a notification that the truck would be picked up in two hours. My grandfather rushed home for the truck to get loaded. That was when I got hit with an additional $300 etc.. I would not recommend this company to anyone

Was the middleman setting up the transfer of a car from a neighbor to my son. Found Monteay in a Forbes review of car transporters. Was my first time setting up a car transportvery happy that I found this company. Had no difficulty getting an acceptable quote. Their online chat folks always responded quickly.We were not happy with the drivers lack of response while we were waiting for the pickup and delivery. His phone was not on so we could not even leave a message. That is why it is a 4 star rating instead of a 5.

Order ********** I used Montway to ship my wifes Porsche Cayenne from ******* to ********. I was hesitant to ship uncovered, but was reassured by Montway that the car is insured and that the worst case scenario is that the car shows up dirty. Well, it did show up dirty, and covered in lead lubricant and tiny rust spots. (100s of thousands of tiny rust spots, from small pieces of metal shavings that were on my newly purchased car for over a week). When the car arrived I looked at the driver with a confused, are you kidding me, kind of look. He said, its just dirty, it will all wash off. I pointed out multiple spots of tar like substance (turned out to be lead based), that he proceeded to tell me not to touch, as if he knew how to take care of my cars paint. I had to pay over $700 to detail the car with multiple rounds of a clay bar to finally get the car clean and looking the way it should. I will never use montway again even though they outsource and act as a broker. They did an absolutely terrible job of helping me through this process.

Montway represents the best when it comes to moving a car cross country.Easy, straightforward booking; you know all costs up front; no hidden charges, no surprises.The car was picked up in the *********** region and transported to the ********** area. From the moment of the booking to the moment of delivery, there were email updates; scheduling, pickup, enroute, and a on hour heads up message for deiivery. Booked, loaded, delivery; all within a week.Yes, could have flown out and drove it back. Considered that option but after looking at cost of fuel and air ticket; Montway beat that with savings.If in the Scramento area, ask if ****** is available, VK is the company name he has. First class rig, ***** and the latest in car haulers trailer. He is a perfectionist and cares each car loaded as if it is his own. He cares; it shows....No better than Montway; and teamed with ******, expect nothing less than the best move.

Montway Auto Transport - Exceptional Service!We recently used Montway Auto Transport to transport our car ***** miles from ********* to *******, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. They picked up the car exactly on the day and time promised, carefully loaded it onto the transport, and delivered it ***** miles away in just three days. The car arrived in perfect condition, exactly as expected.Payment through Venmo was seamless, with no surprises or hidden costsit was exactly as quoted. Communication throughout the process was outstanding. I interacted with Montway, the trucking company, and the driver, and all three provided excellent, timely updates.For added peace of mind, Id recommend placing a tracker device like an Apple AirTag in the car to monitor its location. However, with Montways level of service, its more of an extra reassurance than a necessity.I highly recommend Montway Auto Transport for their reliability, transparency, and top-notch communication. They delivered on every promise, and we couldnt be happier with the experience!

2 dr ***** was received in good order from NJ to ** and on time via the requested enclosed carrier. The driver had direct contact with the shipping dealer. The process went well, and if needed, would be used again. This process enables the purchase of a car from anywhere in the **. A detailed inspection of the vehicle was performed by a 3rd party prior to my purchase, which I arranged, with the driver doing a pre-load inspection for the Bill ** Lading, with a review of that inspection a delivery.

Don’t Use Montway or ABA Logistics. Montway is an auto transport broker who does not stand behind the company they hire to transport your automobile. I had my car picked up in Md and transported to Fl. The car had 200 more miles on it than when they picked it up. Pictures of the odometer before and after proved it. They did nothing and the transporter themselves did nothing and would not call me back. Use another company….

I have used Montway 2 years ago to transport my car from ******** to *******. I found them to be honest and reliable and pleasant to deal with. Their ad even states they want to give you "peace of mind". Well, my 2nd go around with them couldn't be further from any peace of mind. I originally booked my reservation with them July 2024 to transport my car. They gave me a price which was acceptable. Pick was supposed to be 12/23/24 but I asked them about 2 weeks prior if we could change it to 12/26/24. They agreed. Approximately 2-3 days prior to pick up they raised their price approximately $200.00. I agreed as it was rather last minute. The car was not picked up until 1/5/25. There was minimal to no communication during this time. I had to call all the time to find out what the delay was. Finally I was given a day of 1/4/25 in the afternoon for pick up. Nobody can and nobody called. I called them and said if they couldn't get to me by 6PM to come the next morning. They agreed. By 1/5/25, nobody came and nobody called. I called them and was told they would be there in 1-2hrs (that was 10AM).AFter multiple calls the car was picked up at 4PM. I reached out to the driver re: expected car delivery and there was no response. I finally received notification that the car will be delivered 1/7/25 in the afternoon. By evening, I reached out and was told the car would be delivered in 2-3 hours. That would have been by 9PM. I am writing this at 10:30PM and still no car. I reached out to the driver at *** who said he would be here by 11PM. It arrived at 11:25PM...full of dirt. They are deceitful, dishonest and they bait and switch. There is minimal to no communication. I will definitely not recommend them or use them again. I refused to sign his delivery paper as it was dark and while I had a flashlight I couldn't really see if there was any damage. Stay far away from them...crooks!!

I requested my car to be transported anytime between January 1 and January 6 to **********. They still had not identified a carrier, let alone a delivery driver, by late morning of January 5. I had to cancel the order. Each time I contacted them I was told the same thing -- "the holidays have us backed up" leaving me with no confidence that they would. No excuse. The holidays were over on January 2. I now have to drive to **.

ZERO ZERO ZERO - DO NOT USE. If you're looking for your car to just get there quickly, fine. But the driver (ERKIN HAKBERDIEV) who picked up our car WOULD NOT come into our neighborhood. Made our neighbors who were helping us out meet him miles away. We specifically requested, and expected, door to door service being picked up at our single family home on a non-busy street in VA. THEN, same BS was pulled when it was delivered to us in CA. He would not come into the neighborhood, yet again saying the road was too small. I was not having it. I wasn't there when he picked up the car, but when we met him in CA I told him to put it back on the truck and follow me to where he was asked to drop it off. He then got flippant and incredibly rude. I recused myself and let my mom handle the rest (it was her car) and when she tried to pay him he said that wasn't the amount due and he started loading the car back on the rig to take away with him. So she told him she was calling the police and when the company called him and said the amount my mom was told is correct, he unloaded the car and we paid and left. THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Beware if they assign you ERKIN as your driver. He is ATROCIOUS. Find another company! That's what we plan to do when we ship our final car across the country.

Please note that many locations have limited access and service restrictions for vehicle transport trucks. The driver may ask to meet at a nearby location up to a few miles away that is appropriate for their truck. It is a requirement for you or your contact to meet the driver. Screwed up dares etc on motorcycle delivery. Someone took it upon themselves to adjust handlebars which made my Harley inoperable. Why did they do this! Can't get an answer. They don't give a damn. And it took 27 days from Penna to Florida tho was quoted 10 day delivery. Bull on these useless and fraudulent company. Run away!!!!! I would rate it negatively but no option lower than 1 star

Their customer service is excellent! 5 stars. I called multiple times before and after booking with them to ask questions regarding shipment. They were incredibly helpful and informative. However, after booking, the communication regarding carrier assignment and the car's estimated pick up and delivery times were lacking. The driver contacted me before I received confirmation from Montway that a carrier had been dispatched. I had to call to confirm. I communicated more with the driver, but that communication too was tenuous. The driver did not pick up nor deliver the car at the times he said he would. He was either early with no notice or several hours late. Overall, Montway has excellent customer service, but poor communication regarding shipment progress probably due to the fact that they are working with a third party to ship the car (as most car shipment companies do).

Recently had a car shipped with Montway from San Francisco to Florida - car was excessively delayed in arriving destination (over 2 weeks). Customer service was unhelpful and repeatedly unresponsive. For instance - I was informed explicitly I would be issued a compensation offer on a specific date, and was never contacted. I will be filing a complaint with better business bureau about this company and am involving my lawyer.
