First..I have been playing guitar for YEARS..30+.
BUT?...I have NO formal training.
I joined Beginner Guitar Group..and learned of MGTB. I watched
ONE lesson...loved it!! I wasn't OVERWHELMED by terms I don't understand!

I have been playing guitar for 20 years, I’ve never had a lesson and had reached a bit of stalemate with my progress. I had developed bad habits and cut corners. On a whim, after seeing an online video of MGTB, I decided to try a lesson.
The quality of both the teaching, and the teaching materials was incredible.
My instructor was patient, knowledgeable, clear and extremely talented. He went at a pace perfect to suit me, he challenged me, inspired me and taught me things in the first 15 minutes that 20 years self study has not been able to do.
HIGHLY recommended.

Me and my son have just had another awesome lesson with Richard Hillyer @mgtb just a fantastic teacher, full of encouragement and patience, with genuine enthusiasm and talent for teaching. Switches between teaching a talented 12 year old to a 50 year old newbie without missing a beat. The only guitar lessons you’ll ever need.

My 10 year old son had his first lesson today, the lesson was really well planned so he had lots to learn. He was so apprehensive beforehand, but was totally at ease within minutes of meeting Rich & was playing Hey Jude after a half an hour lesson. He has came home with homework that he is actually looking forward to doing!

For me it’s the way he goes about teaching guitar, he breaks it into segments it’s a real cool way to Learn , it just happens to to be 1 of my favourite tunes, I will be tuning in at least once a week, a good tip for any one starting out, don’t try to Run before you can walk ? Not everybody can master the Guitar i didn’t think I could 10 years ago , you can’t rush it it’s got to come from within, if you don’t Try you will never know - I,m Glad I did.
My son has been having lessons weekly with Henry for about a year now. He looks forward to his lessons and really enjoys the music. He loves the fact that he gets to choose current songs. He has been kept engaged and challenged at the right level throughout. He recently passed his first Trinity exam with a distinction, so I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks Henry. Definitely recommend.

♥ listening to Jay jamming with Rich! Makes my heart smile! if you ever need a guitar tutor would really recommend Mobile Guitar Tuition Bristol! He is patient and always brings Jays tastes into what he learns.. Jay never has boring homework that he can't complete. Even When Jay broke his arm, Rich put together a series or practical work to keep Jay interested!.. Really look forward to him taking part in the next concert, something I never though he would do.. but again only working with Rich has really given him confidence in his ability!!. Thank you!!

My daughter has lessons with Henry. She loves them. Henry has a very good contact with Ella and keeps her very motivated. Only after three lessons Ella was able to play a simple tune, which sounds like a miracle keeping in mind that during her first lesson she couldn't even hold the guitar properly or press a string for more than a few seconds as it was too painful for her. We are in our second month of having the lessons and I cannot believe the progress.
Any one who wants to learn or further their Guitar playing then Richard is the guy for you .
He has helped me tremendously and given me the confidence to start up my own band [ or a group as it was known in the 60s ] I started off with a Guitar Tutor and ended up with a very dear friend . You will not go far wrong letting Richard be your tutor I cant praise him enough
