The rooms are beautiful and neat. One thing that needs improvement is security at the entrance. As a visitor, I wasn't sure where to go and ended up in the casino site. The areas are too dark especially the entrance used for check ins.
They can do away with the carpets that probably Mangope left. It makes the hotel look old and tired. There is no ventilation in the bathrooms, no window to open or at least an extractor for fresh air

I'm extremely disappointed with my dining experience at Palmetto, Mmabatho Palms, Mahikeng. Unfortunately, the food quality is subpar. Meals are often served cold, lacking flavor and attention to detail.
Their cocktails fall short as well, being overly simplistic and under-poured. On occasion, they seem to contain little to no alcohol, merely juice. When brought to the bartender's attention, they become defensive and argumentative.
Overall, Palmetto falls short of expectations.
