Our huge thanks to Matthew and his team at MJ Groundworks for their excellent and professional service. We have recently bought a property in Sawbridgeworth in need of renovation, including the front and back gardens. We wanted to give the work to someone local and found M J Groundworks through a 'Google' search. Matthew was prompt to respond and assess the works needed and made a start in quick time. The removal of 5 trees and complete fencing all round our 60ft by 50ft garden was completed over a couple of weeks and we are delighted with the results. Timescale for a predicted two week job ran into 6 calendar weeks. Cost of the job was over quote by 3K. Complex retaining wall job but other smaller customer jobs were completed during our job. Various weekly delays in materials, delivery and manpower. Work completed was what we asked for in the end and looks good.

Thank you for arranging the works so quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with the service received, and would highly recommend.

M J Groundwork were great throughout. Excavated 35sqm out the back and organized the muck away. Work was done to a high standard and for a fair price. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to have groundwork done.

Sean was such a friendly guy, very punctual and went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. 5 stars all round. Staff were hardworking and pleasant to deal with. Matt was very accommodating with our ever changing schedule due to the delays we experienced with getting supplies delivered for our large gabion basket garden project. He was happy to supply the drivers and diggers as and when we needed them which was a god send. Would highly recommend Matt and his team for this type of work

Turnd up on time ,did what I wanted no hassle and way cheaper than the quotes from landscapers to do pritty much do the same job, would recommend .
