Just treated myself to fish tacos at Miti Miti (Brooklyn’s Park Slope Restaurant ) …. Topped off with a freshly made Cucumber Margarita “ w/jalapeños … Yum! My waiter Edgar R. was the best! His suggestions were on point! ”. This is a very lively happy venue full of wonderful people of all ages. Bring your significant other or a group of family/friends. Music was so uplifting (latest Latin and Urban sounds)! Lights were lowered at 5:00pm and for a minute I thought I was beachside in Mexico! Highly recommend 💃🏽👏

I had there street corn which was banging
There chicken taquitos also banging
There steak quesadilla was good
And there tacos was on point
Went for lunch w my daughter and definitely changed from the last time I was there (over a year ago). Food doesn’t taste authentic. The burrito bowl was salty and the hibiscus drink was super sweet I had to add water! My daughter wasn’t a fan of her taco meal she said the rice & beans were salty as well. It’s also pricey, there’s another similar restaurant a couple blocks away you get the same meal for much less and legit authentic food! In addition, they include a 20% tip for 2 ppl, I suppose ppl are tipping well for them to do that 🤷♀️ Also, music was so loud it was hard to hear myself talking. Needless to say we won’t be visiting Miti Miti again, we left there feeling so bloated we went next door to CVS to get Pepcid!
Hello, I want to start by saying that I am a huge lover of Mexican food. I adore its culture, its people, and of course, its cuisine. However, my experience at Miti Miti Modern Mexico was disappointing, and here are 10 reasons why I would consider not going.
1. If you just want to have a couple of drinks with some snacks, avoid the margaritas; both the passion fruit and regular ones were terribly prepared.
2. The waiter was kind, but when I arrived, I asked for water because I didn’t like the margarita, and they never brought it.
3. I ordered chicken tacos, but the chicken was almost frozen, lacking flavor. Also, the green sauce I asked for on the side was charged, even though I requested it separately.
4. I waited a long time for the food, and compared to other places, the service is lacking; they didn’t take the time to explain the menu.
5. It’s unpleasant that they are so focused on whether you’ll leave a tip; service should be good without expecting that.
6. My husband ordered two steak tacos, and they were completely cold.
7. About the margaritas, it seems like they just do them with a filter; they just mix tequila and that’s it.
8. The cleanliness of the place was not up to par; I saw dirty tables and a lack of attention to details.
9. The prices are extremely cheap, and I suppose that’s why everyone goes there; it’s a popular, accessible spot for everyone.
I hope this helps the owner and the staff to be more friendly, to treat customers better, and to value people, because I think today we are here, and tomorrow we don’t know. Good night, and thank you so much.”
