Very bad. Not providing service. They took almost $12000 of our money in June 2025 and not done any work. Offered to replace door and windows with hurricane impact glass. When we call it says closed for seasonal inventory. Lost money and a subcontractor sent a notice to owner saying that probable lien on our property if the contractor mister window don’t pay them. The salesman came and made the contract and after two months he doesn’t pick up the phone . They were very smart to take the order but it looks like fraud.

Changing to one star after Mr Window refused to correct their mistake even after I filed a complaint with the BBB. We would not recommend Mr Window in Palmento. Original review follows: We recently had Mr. Window install 10 windows and one sliding glass door in our house. The salesperson, Ruiz Santos, was very good, we liked the price, so we signed a contract. Next, the field engineer came out to measure our windows and three weeks later sent us a scope of work full of mistakes. Most got corrected, but one window did not get corrected, and we are not happy about that. Some of the windows delivered did not match the scope of work such as clear instead of obscured glass for a bathroom, and all of the windows have a slight green tint. We specifically said we did not want any green windows. The installers were very professional and did very good work. The lack of communication from the various office managers we dealt with was very poor. We were told it might be possible to get the windows installed in three days – it took three months. You may have a better experience…

Mister Window Fraud This company should be ashamed of how they conduct business. They took our deposit for new windows in September and never installed them. Despite our attempts to resolve the issue, the work was never completed and our deposit was not returned. What comes around goes around. The law has a way of catching up to companies that operate like this, and accountability will follow.

Update: Not shocking this company filed for bankruptcy. Our job was never completely finished. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! My experience with Mister Window has been nothing short of a nightmare. Chris, who measured for our three sliding glass doors and has since been let go, made two significant errors that have cost us dearly. Initially, I caught one mistake: he incorrectly specified recessed handles, when I explicitly requested raised. However, I failed to notice a more critical issue — the code for the handle placement on one of the doors. While the salesperson’s drawing showed the correct position, Chris recorded the wrong code. This oversight has led to a frustrating situation. After waiting three weeks, I was told that I should have caught this mistake and that, to replace the door, it would cost an additional **$5,000 on top of the $55,000 I'd already paid! This was unacceptable. The problems didn't end there. When they scheduled the inspection with the town, they neglected to provide our name or phone number. Consequently, the inspector couldn’t reach us, since our directory omits unit numbers for safety reasons. It wasn’t until the second no-show from the town that I contacted them and discovered the issue. Adding to my frustration, the VP, Pony, ignored my messages and never responded to my requests for a callback to discuss the numerous mistakes made by Mister Window. Their lack of accountability, poor communication, and disregard for customer service have made this a truly regrettable experience. I strongly advise anyone considering Mister Window to look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and choose a company that values its customers rather than blame them for their mistakes.

Ordered a front door in September 2025 and have yet to receive the door/installation. I have called and emailed multiple times. The last update I received was on 12/8, stating they were experiencing supply chain issues. Since then, despite numerous attempts to follow up, I have not received any response. Calls made at the beginning of this year are met with an automated message saying the company is closed for seasonal inventory. I would simply like a clear answer—has the company gone out of business, and if not, will I receive my door or a refund?

BEWARE: Windows were installed in June 2025. One window was ordered incorrectly and was not installed until October. I have been waiting for screens since October for all windows. I have called Mr Window daily since the first week of December, but my calls have not been returned. Additionally, Mr Window Incorrectly told finance company that we had received the screens. They received full payment for the job, I have no screens.

Update 1/9/26: Mister Window took a deposit of over $4k from us on September 5th with a lead time of 8 weeks. Install was scheduled for 11/13. We removed all the window coverings and scheduled PTO from our jobs. I started calling that morning at 8:30. Left messages with no response. Finally after 10 AM and multiple phone calls, I was able to get someone on the phone who said that our windows never got delivered. They asked to reschedule for the first week of December. I said I could not take time off again that quickly so I asked for the week of Christmas. We rescheduled for 12/26. I received an email a week before saying that our windows still have not come in and the ETA is now February. I have since called and emailed numerous times and many different people with no response. Even our salesman Mike will not respond. It has been weeks of being ignored. Their main number says they are closed for seasonal inventory and happy holidays. I now have lost all faith in this company and just hope that we will be able to get our deposit back. Dealt with Mike and he was very professional and detailed with his info. Signed our contract and looking forward to our install in a couple of months. Great experience so far!

Sooooo update…..we paid $20,000 for two custom doors. Michael is no longer with the company, and when we call this business a recorded message tells us they are closed for “inventory” we sure hope they are looking for our doors we paid for! Anyway, we are hoping a downgrade in this review will have them return our calls since November….we posted the review initially after a great meeting and several measurement appointments, but it seems after they took our money they don’t seem to return calls to let us know when install will be. Please Mister Wjndow….please install our doors! Or simply give us our money back! Thank you!!!! It’s pretty easy. Michael from Mister Window was great to work with! He gave a clear, professional presentation and helped us pick 2 perfect doors and 1 window. Michael is very knowledgeable and personable. We really liked the computer model and catalog to look through - it really helped us visualize the design. The whole process was easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Company is out of business, we went to a location in Port Charlotte, the door had an eviction notice since December , we try to email them and all the emails bounce back, all locations are saying they are close for seasonal inventory!!!! If you have a contract call your lawyer. You are not going to get your work done !!!!!

Ordered easy dams through them in August 2025 to be installed in 8 weeks. They came out and took measurements and we paid them $15,000 deposit. After 8 weeks passed, I tried getting a hold of them for over 2 months. I finally talked to Tom in earl November, their installer coordinator, and they scheduled the install for January 5, 2026. When no showed up today, I called Tom and he advised he had been fired and the company filed for bankruptcy.

The experience at signing was good. After that everything went downhill. From the time of getting the French door delivered to the installation to the inspection, and to the final walk through that I’m still waiting on, is a joke. If you can steer away from this company, do it. They are very unprofessional. I was disappointed and I will never use them again, or recommend any one I know to them. Mariela Carvallo

They will take your money and not give you any invoices also you can be waiting for months for work to be done. When you request for a refund they will deny you and threaten you to put a lien on your home for not doing any work on your home. They have lawsuits from American Express and another window manufacturer.

BEWARE, do not be scammed by this company. Signed a contract for flood barriers 1 st week of September and was promised installation within 5-8 weeks. They did promptly come out and measure then ZERO communication. have left almost daily messages. NO response. Very UNPROFESSIONAL.. I sent email to discontinue our contract for non service and In the process of pursuing legal advice if company does not return deposit. Hopefully they will do the right thing so we can get a reputable company to install our barriers. Customer service is non existent once you sign a contract.

I really don’t like doing this but I feel like i have no choice. I did business with Mister Window and bought all new windows for my house and two flood barriers. I was promised the flood barriers first then the windows after. I somehow got the windows done with no problem but for the life of me can’t get any human to give me any updates on my barriers. The one time I did, I was told I’d get a callback which never happened. It’s a decent chunk of change that I spent and just want my barriers. I’ll make this a 5 star review after but please just get me them. Or give me my money back.

Deceit, Destruction, and Delays!!! 200+ days without resolution! **UPDATE 12/10/25** - I have paid in full and Mister Window has not replaced the broken sliding door - No one at Mister Window will even answer my calls or respond to emails. **UPDATE** - Over 160 days have passed and Mister Window has not rectified the situation. - The company ordered a replacement door that was 1" too short for my opening and hasn't been replaced, so I lived through Hurricane season with a sliding door with shattered glass. - The most disappointing part is that Mister Window has been silent for months and I have no timelines on when the project will be completed. Original Review below: Deceit #1 = Lying about employees. I hired Mister Window because they're supposed to have a 100% in-house staff. The salesman pitches this, and it's included in the contract. This is a blatant misrepresentation. Their installation team is made up of subcontractors. Deceit #2 = Ordering wrong product. Mister Window ordered a front door that was 3" too short for my opening and tried to bully me into installing it. It took two supervisor visits and a phone call with the owner over 3 days before they finally admitted they ordered the wrong product. Destruction #1 = Broken Sliding Door. During installation, the subcontractor dropped one of the sliding glass doors and smashed the glass. I understand accidents happen and I'm not mad about that, but what I cannot accept is that it's been FORTY-SEVEN days and the company hasn't even reordered a new replacement door. Destruction #2 = Broken Countertop. When the subcontractor dropped the sliding glass door, it landed on my brand new granite countertop, which cracked. Destruction #3 = Covering up known damage. I have a 1951 Colonial house that's wood-framed. The salesman and I knew there would be damage to the frame. Instead of cutting out rotted wood like they promised, the subcontractors simply installed the doors and covered up the damage with trim. Luckily, I witnessed the subcontractor doing this and was able to have Mister Window agree to fix the damage. Delay #1 = Initial Ordering Delays. During the sales process, I was promised that the project would be finished before my insurance renewal wind mitigation was due. A month after I made my initial deposit, the company hadn't even ordered my doors. Delay #2 = Fixing the Damage. After the company received my second deposit, there was absolutely no follow-up. The Quality Control Manager assigned to the project was either terminated or quit. Regardless, no one at the company stepped up to pick up my job. This was extremely shocking given I had spent a significant amount of time on the phone with an EVP of the company and he assured me of resolution. Note: the company extended a $6,100 discount (12.8% of total project cost) for the issues stated above and an additional $3,225 for the replacement value of the countertop they damaged. After agreeing to a final price and paying in-full, I was shocked to see the company put a lien on my house. The lien as subsequently removed by the company after I proved the job was paid in-full. As of today, it’s been 58 days and the job is not completed.
