Had a wonderful dining experience at MISC. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared with great attention to detail. The flavors were well-balanced, the ingredients were fresh and high quality, and you can truly tell the chef’s passion in each plate. The food is unique yet approachable, with a clear identity that sets MISC apart. Combined with a lovely atmosphere, it’s a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Highly recommend!
If you’re looking for a reliable Thai restaurant with quality food and a pleasant atmosphere, don’t fall for this one.
The place looks welcoming from the outside, but I was seated in a back room where the atmosphere completely changed – overly loud music cutting in and out made it uncomfortable. The starter was fine, but the Pad Thai was hard to eat; the sauce tasted like ketchup mixed with Worcestershire sauce and lacked any authenticity.
When I asked for a takeaway box, it was tossed onto the table for me to pack myself. Packing my own food isn’t an issue – the dismissive attitude was. Before I even finished my drink, I was handed the bill with an automatic 18% service charge. While legal if disclosed, it felt like it removed any incentive to care about service. Reading other reviews about arbitrary or discriminatory service charges made the experience even more disappointing.
There are far better Thai restaurants nearby–Lers Lers just a few blocks away is a much better choice.

Regarding the service charge, we would like to clarify that the 18% service charge is clearly stated on every page of our menu as well as on signage at the front of the restaurant. That said, we truly apologize if this policy made you feel uncomfortable in any way.
In terms of packing food to go, our team is always happy to assist. However, many of our guests prefer to pack their own food, as they feel more comfortable when others do not handle their meals. We regret that this was not communicated clearly and came across as dismissive, which was certainly not our intention.
As for the Pad Thai, we would like to clarify that our sauce does not contain ketchup at all. We are sorry that the flavor did not meet your expectations, and we are unsure what may have caused it to come across that way for you. Nonetheless, we appreciate the feedback and will continue to review consistency and preparation.

AMAZING meal at Misc. I came with a group of 5 and this was more than enough for us! 3 entrees, 2 appetizers, and a dessert! Everything was so delicious. The duck was insanely smooth and pad see ew was seasoned SO well. The wings were also spectacular. Truthfully, customer service was OK, we felt a bit rushed. But overall, amazing meal!!!!
Food was delicious! We ordered the supreme ribs, sriracha wings, and Alaska fried rice. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommended!
The food is really great. The atmosphere is cozy its definitely a local vibe. The service can use some improvements. The restaurant is usually pretty busy and sometimes they don't have enough service staff which can then overwhelm the only individual working

This place was incredible. Best Thai food in crown heights. All the apps were next level especially the crispy duck roti. The thai iced tea is quite possibly the best i’ve ever had

I recently visited this place and it absolutely exceeded my expectations! Everything—from the food to the atmosphere—was genuinely impressive. If you’re looking for fresh, clean, and high-quality dishes, this spot should be at the top of your list.
I tried the Mama J O and the Dug Roti, and both were outstanding.
• Mama J O: The noodles were perfectly cooked—soft, springy, and full of flavor. Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell the kitchen puts real care into selecting high-quality produce. The flavors are bold but well-balanced, making every bite comforting and satisfying.
• Dug Roti: This was a total highlight. The roti was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a wonderfully fragrant aroma. Paired with the rich, flavorful sauce, it was absolutely addictive. I would go back just for this!
The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is warm, clean, and welcoming. The place is well-organized, and you can feel the attention to detail as soon as you walk in. It’s the kind of spot where you instantly feel comfortable and confident about the food you’re about to enjoy.

Consistently excellent food, better than a neighborhood Thai Spot. Great service. Also appreciate the service charge instead of a tip. More restaurants should do this and call it a day
