Had a last minute emergency with my car on a Saturday and y’all know there are no mechanics open on the weekend. Midas was the only shop I could find that was open. So they told me to come in and they would fix my problem the same day. $1477 was the price to fix my throttle body. The technician also filled out my application with a wrong amount as my income. And then used their own phone to verify it. They knew I was under duress as I was getting ready to go into the hospital for cancer surgery and I needed my car fixed. This is such bs! Oh and guess what the interest rate is…146%. On top of that they charged a super inflated price to change my throttle body, then they called me at home and said that someone had drilled out the pcv port (the intake manifold) too big and claimed my car now whistles when it’s running. My car has never made such a noise and it still doesn’t to this day. They tried to charge me another $400 to fix that. But because I had already closed the contract they told me that they had to fix it for free because they couldn’t add any more charges to that contract. Then I continued having problems with the car and the new mechanic I found had to replace the high pressure fuel pump, therefore the manifold had to come off. The mechanic at the shop that changed my fuel pump told me that nobody had ever touched my PCV port on my intake manifold. Do NOT go to Midas in Greenwood on US 31. It’s my belief that they’re open on Saturday because it’s the only choice anyone has if they have an emergency with their vehicle.

Chris is an outstanding dude and got me taken care of. I had another shop replace a CV axle and they put the wrong part on. Due to that it caused damage to the intermediate shaft... On my way to work it decided to crap itself and I ended up right back where it was "fixed". Ironic. I've spent a lot of money with Midas and they got my car in after having it towed from probably the most incompetent place I've ever dealt with, gave me the best customer service and made me feel like I was an actual priority. I definitely recommend this place to everyone if you want quick AND quality service. I will not make the mistake of trying some place new because it was convenient when probably half the people here at this location know my car at this point 🤣🤣 keep up the great work y'all.

Took my jetts in for an oil change & free tire rotation. Next day I had a check engine light come on. Scanned the car & code came back for air intake. Cleared the code opened the hood. Found my oil cap
Was missing, the Corner of the engime cover/air filter housing is cracked (like some paws leaking on it) and the air intake hose is broke in half. Of course it’s Sunday and they are closed. Makes me wonder if they even rotated the tires. No telling what might have fallen into the engine since the cap is missing Also realized they didn’t take my coupon off.
Well, to continue on, they redid the oil change. Purchased me a new cap have done nothing about the other damage. The district manager has never called me like he was supposed to. They said the coolant tested where it needed to be replaced so they were gonna do a flesh and refill for me for free and give me two full synthetic oil changes within the next year for the inconvenience of it. Picked it up put 32 miles on the car and the bottom radiator hose. They did not clip in right and it came undone and dumped all the coolant out on top of that the plastic skirting that goes underneath is now missing, but the screws are halfway in, I had to back to Midas so they could fix that and put coolant in but now it’s gonna have to go back to Volkswagen at their expense to have the engine checked out and everything checked out just to make sure they didn’t mess anything else up. Avoid this location like the plague. The second visit was supposed to been done by their master mechanic who is the best person they have that should tell you everything you need to know, including new pictures of what they screwed up this time. Will be up there first thing in the morning. I think this will get their attention when they show up i For work in the morning

Great customer service and skill technicians. All work is completed in a timely manner. I have taken my cars to this Midas for years and they always do a great job. I am always informed of how the work is progressing and what might need attention in the future. Joe does a great job making sure you understand the work being performed.

Wife’s avalanche had issues with her gear shift connector which caused her to break down earlier in the day. The manager was pretty awesome and ordered her the part. Part came in 20 minutes later and fixed her truck in no time. Thank you Joey B. for helping us today.
