Dr is very good. Ladies in front desk doesn't want to bill to my complementary Insurance and wanted charge me co-paiment in cash instead bill to that complementary Insurance that I paid already. I had to cancel my cirgury because they didn't do that process. I hope Dr Giuffrida se my review and know how that Ladies be with the customers.

I was so nervous when my dermatologist referred me to Dr Giuffrida because of my biopsy results confirming a basal cell carcinoma in my face. From the moment I walked into Dr. Giuffrida's office I felt that I came into the right place. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Giuffrida was not only knowledgeable but also humble and took the time to address all my questions and concerns. I left the clinic feeling confident in the care I received. Today I got my stitches removed from Mohs surgery performed last week by this amazing surgeon. I feel great and thankful.

Wonderful doctor and staff I was referred to Dr. Giuffrida by my dermatologist for a Moh’s surgery procedure on my face, of all places. I read reviews and was somewhat concerned by the mixed reviews I read online. Fortunately, I have only positive words for the doctor and his team. From the moment of my arrival I was treated professionally and courteously. The wait to see Dr. Giuffrida was minimal. He explained the procedure and addressed the concerns I had about potential scarring on my face patiently and compassionately. I was able to schedule the procedure quickly.Unfortunately for me, the basal cell carcinoma was quite extensive requiring multiple cuts and an extensive suture line. However, almost a week out, I can see a clean line which will leave a small, but almost hidden scar from how the doctor had to cut. This speaks of experience and concern for both the patient’s physical and emotional well being.The office staff was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Giuffrida.

Nurse Practitioner Only-You never see the Dr This practice seems like a scam, they basically advertise their name using the Dr’s name, but you only get to see his Nurse for follow ups or full body scans, as the Dr only does surgery. Dr does not see patients anymore, he only treats them when they are already sick, I guess it might be more profitable. Because the healthcare system is also a scam, they charge you and the insurance as if you were seen by a Dr specialist, when in reality you are seen, and diagnosed by a Nurse Practitioner. They made me wait 6 months to see the Dr, and they just called me to let me know the app. is going to be with the Nurse. Bait-and-switch on the spot, nice move Doc!

After my appointment being rescheduled at the last minute not once but TWO times I was finally able to have my procedure done. About 6 months after initial consultation. Dr. Giuffrida was absolutely as great as many other reviews suggest. ***** FIVE STARS FOR DOCTOR GIUFFRIDA ***** My issue was with the front desk office staff. After paying for my procedure in full at the office approximately 3 weeks later I received a bill from an out of state lab for close to $400.00, a charge that they neglected to inform me about. I reached out to the office upon the receipt of this in my opinion, extremely high lab charge, and why was I not informed of this possible charge. They were less than caring and failed to take accountability for the lack of patient disclosure. The office kept saying "your insurance, your insurance, your insurance" That was NOT the point! They did give me the number to the Derm group billing department who also found the charge was high and wondered why a local lab was not used. Ultimately I'm reasonable for this fee and will be paying it. They have apparently informed the office that going forward patients need to be informed about ANY and ALL possible charges that might arise. Hope this helps.
