I appreciate all the help from the Director of Events- Sydney & Manager Chris and staff, I had an amazing time! The food was excellent and the service and hospitality was more than accommodating! I will be returning soon for a dinner as the falafel, especially was fresh and delicious. I had a prix fix , family style dinner for 11 ppl and it was was such a success. by the end of the dinner, we had a birthday cake that most of us were too full to indulge in, The staff cut the cake evenly and packed individual to go boxes for each person. Everyone got to enjoy the left overs and cake the next day and it was even better !
Overall just a great experience!!
We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary because we had heard such great things about it. I was genuinely excited to take my wife here, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
From the beginning, the service was lacking. We waited about 30 minutes without proper attention. Our waitress never came back to check on us, and I had to raise my hand multiple times just to get someone’s attention.
At one point, someone came over and asked if we needed help understanding the menu specifically implying whether we could read English. The menu was already in English, so the question felt unnecessary and honestly a bit insulting. There was no reason to assume we couldn’t understand it.
I even stepped away to use the restroom, and during that time no one came to check on our table at all. My wife told me no one stopped by no updates, no refills, nothing.
The only person who seemed to truly be doing their job properly was the hostess. She was welcoming and professional. Unfortunately, the rest of the service did not reflect that same level of care.
I really wanted this place to be special for our anniversary. Instead, it ended up being a disappointing experience.
Place very beautiful. Cozy and atmosphere is great. Bathrooms - not clean.
Food is good but prices on food don’t make sense.
The waiting time is very long. Service a little bit confused I’m just hoping it was their first day.
We had a beer and lady poured water in it 😬
The place looks nice but the food was disappointing, creative recipes but it just doesn’t go well together. Shrimp risotto main ingredient was oil, and plenty of it
Made a reservation wanting to try the restaurant week menu only got told after arrival that they don’t serve it on Saturday, which was a bummer. BUT - all the food we ordered were really nice. My favourite was the shrimp skewer and the tomato sauce fish. Overall a bit overpriced and there’s no train nearby but will def come back for the food! Fab service as well.
The food was good but unfortunately customer service is terrible. They charged my card multiple times for the same bill and when I emailed them about the issue they said they “don’t have a record of those transactions” despite me sending them my receipt and credit card statements. They told me to just dispute it with my bank which is ridiculous. I typically only write reviews for places I really love but felt I had to share this one.
This Mediterranean spot is fire! The vibes were amazing last night and the décor is stunning. The food? Every dish was delicious. You must get their freshly made, hot frena bread and the melt-in-your-mouth lamb shank so worth every penny. Service was a 10/10.
We loved everything about this place! The service was great, the food was absolutely excellent and the ambiance was beautiful and fun. We were afraid we'd over-ordered, but then cleaned our entire plates and asked for the dessert menu bc it was so dang good.
If you love Mediterranean food as much as I do, Mesiba is a must-visit!
Love the atmosphere here - clean, calm, and beautiful. To drink, I loved started with the Strawberry Fields (think spritz!). Every item we tried was delicious: the Hummus, Falafel, Kreplach Dumplings, Roasted Carrots (some of the best I’ve had), Latkes (seasonal but should be year-round) and their unique take on Babaganoush, everything on the menu is worth trying. Their Frena bread is also incredible - so fluffy and fresh.
I’d highly recommend!
Great experience at Mesiba. Moroccon fish is a must, carrots were delicious and zaatar bread was yum. Tableside hummus was fun for the theatrics but portion quite small. Overall, great food and experience and recommend for a group. Rare spacious restaurant in WB!

We were pleasantly suprised at how wonderful this restaurant was. The food, cocktails. Atmosphere and service were all great. Honestly one of the best hummus and baba gagnoush I have ever had The branzino and short ribs were delicious as was the potato pancakes Dessert was equally as good. We usually don’t repeat restaurants given how many they are in nyc but I can’t wait to go back here. We will be regulars

I visited Masiba last night and the food was truly outstanding. Everything was delicious, well made and worth the price. This is the reason I am giving five stars. Still, there are a few important points that should be improved regarding the service.
The first issue was the response time. It took a long time to get attention, and even when someone arrived, things were not handled. I asked for bread five times with several minutes between each request, and only at the end did we receive three breads together. This was frustrating because I ordered the roasted eggplant. It is a classic dish that is always served with bread, and the price definitely justifies it.
Another problem is the staff knowledge. Almost no one knew what was in the dishes, even on a basic level. They even needed a manager to confirm the name of a dish. A good team must know the menu well.
I am giving five stars because I came to enjoy the food and the food was excellent. But if this had been a business meeting, the service would have received a much lower score. It is a good restaurant with strong potential, and with a little more investment in staff training, it could become perfect.
Don’t stop just go for the Moroccan fish.. it’s freaky good
A beautiful bday celebration, complete with kunafe and mezcal cocktails. I was tempted to try the banana old fashioned but will save it :)
Very impressive cocktail menu with the basics done proper or intricate flavor profiles swiftly combined into never before tasted drinks, like the banana old fashioned or the mezcal margarita.
The ambiance was matched by amazing food, warm, fresh, and large portions. While the price may be intimidating it is justified by portion size and quality.
I shared the Moroccan fish in a creamy spicy sauce. It was mellow enough for dinner but would have been far too heavy to endeavor alone. The delivery was top notch, served steaming hot in a dish cooked into cheesy pita bread. Think bread bowl but far thinner, more digestible and palatable. The fish was fresh and succulent, sauce was amazing and we ended up scraping every last bit.
The apps spoke for themselves, we tried dips and labneh with bread as well as beets.
Overall I am extremely picky but impressed with:
Fantastic service, amazing quality of food and flavor profiles, ambiance of setting, though quite loud for a group setting, portion sizes, and breadth of menu to share dishes across diets.
My friends are allergic to pine nuts and EGGS (how’s that for a difficult bday cake?) and I only eat fish no meat and avoid complex carbs but partook in trying the pita. We were able to accommodate vegan/vegetarian, low carb, and allergies. Bonus for vegan friends- (the pita has no eggs).
This is by no means a Michelin restaurant but it is truly delicious, versatile, welcoming yet chic, and somehow feels elite without pretension.
Genuinely confused how mesiba only has a 4.3 I think it deserves minimum a 4.7 in a COMPETITIVE territory. The worse part for me was the fact that it was in the moxy hotel which meh and the lighting to bathroom does not exist. But food wise and experience, 5 stars.
