Don’t buy I had a frustrating experience with Meaningful Beauty regarding unexpected charges. I canceled my account, but continued to be billed because a shipment had apparently been set up as a multi-month installment plan. This was never clearly explained to me, and I did not receive a clear billing statement outlining that I would be charged over time. As a customer, I expect transparency—especially when it comes to ongoing charges. Being enrolled in what functions like a subscription or installment plan without clear, upfront communication is not acceptable. I’ve reached out to resolve the issue and am still working toward a fair outcome. I would strongly encourage others to carefully review all terms and billing details before purchasing. I hope the company improves its communication and billing practices so other customers don’t run into the same issue.

They LIED FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I would leave zero. Scammers! They said I could by this kit for $79 They send small sample like bottle for $89 that is with tax I believe which I paid I was going to try it but it didnt work for my skin, the products burned my skin, I canceled before my next shipment date they sent the next shipment EARLY and already charged my card. They said they charge 3 more times I said no absolutely not. They never mentioned it cost another $200 for the sample size bottle wow! DO NOT BUY I sent the kit back but have a bill for $200 so $300 total for sample size product that burns !

Allergic reaction I used the 5 piece starter kit for 2 days. By day 2, my face was itching and burning. Took off products and used a different lotion during the night. Woke up to my face and eyes being so swollen and it looked like I had a chemical burn. Do not recommend these products if your skin is at all sensitive. I'm on day 2 of the aftermath and under my eyes are still so swollen and my face is still burning. If I could give this product negative stars, I would... 1 star is too many. On a positive note, Customer service was great. They provided a full refund without having to return the products at my cost.

I love meaningful beauty, have been using it for many years. Im not sure why people arent understanding you are purchasing the products as well as subscribing to Meaningful Beauty as a routine buyer. Its not a scam. A lot of people order the trial and cancel within the allotted time to avoid future charges. It is Not an inexpensive product I dont use the products fast enough to be a subscriber so I cancelled my subscription. I have found other ways to obtain the products I use. My ************ allows us to skip shipments if we dont need any new products, may want to consider adding that option to your business model, Id be back for sure! The products are great!

This company is a scam. They will automatically sign you up for product deliveries. When I called to cancel my subscription THREE times i was still charged. So called again and was told Im good. Now I am receiving a past due notice. It got to the point where I had to report them to my credit card company! Do not purchase from them!

I started using their products in the 2000's when they first launched. Over time, I've witnessed the company reduce the volume of the products while simultaneously increasing prices dramatically. There are several products that I do love to use, but with the plethora of competitive companies out there, I don't feel that I was getting the value I was paying for. Whilst every product subscription company out there from feminine products, meal prep, toiletries, pet products, etc, will allow their customers to skip a month, ********************** would only allow you to delay a subscription. So, even when I didn't want, or need more product at that time, I felt forced to purchase when it was convenient for them. From their inception, I always paid by check. If you're not going to allow me to purchase when it is convenient for my checking account, I'm going to control when you get paid. This was fine by them for nearly 20 years, and then they decided to only accept payment by credit card. Since they don't allow you to skip any months of subscription, I found this to be a red flag. I also noticed that one of my checks didn't clear for the correct amount. 14 cents had not been remitted. So I sent the company a check for 14 cents. They then decided to apply that to a future purchase, send me a late notice for a future bill, and cancel my account, when I explained that the 14 cents was not for future payment, but to correct a previous error to put my account current. About 2 weeks after they cashed my 14 cent check, they closed my account saying that I still owed them 14 cents. I don't know what happened to this company in the past couple decades, but it was obviously bought out and managed by someone incompetent and greedy. Everything associated to the ***** ******** brand has been destroyed. I have never had a company terminate me for correcting an error and paying them 14 cents that they never noticed I owed. It left me feeling pretty meaningless to them.

I like the products but, they SCAM you with the offer of $49.95 plus extra products. Then the bill you for $160.00 or more for the same product that you get in the special offer. When you talk to them about what you were to actually get in the offer, they lie. Please be very careful because they will also take your money without authorization.

No Instructions My wife was disappointed in the packaging and lack of instructions on the steps on how to apply. This may be a great product, if you knew how to apply it. The writing on the travel set is so small it is difficult to read even with reading glasses. Certainly not helpful for older people. Need instructions included. May be returning.

Hair products made my hair fall out I used the trial size they send out and by the time I finished the product I already had 2 full size bottles of both shampoo and conditioner. They were shipped so fast I had no time to use the trial size. I tried to cancel future shipments but they came anyway and I was told to return for a full refund so I did but they could only refund half of my money. I'm out 145$ now!

This is a TV scam with and claim of trying the product for $49 dollars. The problem is they charged me $91 three times until I figured it out and after I canceled the second delivery I did not order. When I called they told me it was an automatic reorder which I did not agree to. Stay away from this group because they are dishonest and will just keep billing your credit card. ..

I ordered a Christmas gift for my mother for their skin care kit (a one time order). When clicking submit, I see one of their terms and conditions is a monthly subscription that must be opted out of. So I immediately tried to login to the account I just created and cancel this monthly charge. Keep getting error messages. I then contact customer service who tells me she is unable to cancel this and I will have to wait 1-2 business days until my account is created to cancel this monthly charge. So today, I tried to login which I was now able but see that the monthly subscription is unable to be cancelled without speaking to a representative (which is not available since its Christmas) and Im only able to subtract some of the items they auto added (totaling $170 dollarsthe original skin kit I ordered was $50.). Im also unable to remove my credit card details from this website as well. This is literally the shadiest scam of a product and cant even believe how scummy this company is. I would never order from this company again and I will absolutely dispute any additional charges with my credit card and plan to take to social media. Shame on you.

This may be the best skincare system I have ever used in my 35 years using products, no question about it. The "Star Review" is based on ***************** If you read the reviews they almost all relate to customer service issues. From day One in April I have had nothing but issues with the call center employees not understanding or doing the job to represent MB. Today, again calling for an issue with "payment and shipping", I spoke with someone in the ***********. I know he was trying his best, but there is CONSTANT misinformation and confusion in the call center on every call I have had. Today was 35 mins for what should have been a 5 minute call. Why *****..?? Why do this to your customer? Move the call center to ** and I believe you will see a dramatic reduction in negative reviews. Your product is excellent and I believe you stand behind it, now stand behind the service side of business. PLEASE....For everything good in the World....Do Something..!!

Ive been a loyal member for years and have always paid for the items *** ordered. However, in September, I was charged for an order I didnt authorize and for items I didnt want. I immediately contacted my bank to cancel my card, as the charge was deducted after hours. The bank canceled my card and was able to get a refund. The next day, I called to request a cancellation of the order because I didnt want the items. The representative assured me that the items hadnt shipped yet and that he would note my request to cancel the shipment. However, I received the items the following day. I called again to say I didnt want them and wanted to return them. I hadnt opened the package, but when I tried to return it, I was told I would be charged for shipping. To make matters worse, my membership was canceled without my authorization. I ended up paying for the items I didnt want just to reopen my membership. A few weeks ago, I called again because I was unable to access my account online, and I still cant. The representative noted the issue on my account and helped me select the items I needed for a shipment scheduled for this Friday, 11/22. I specifically requested the shipment be processed on Friday, as thats when I get paid. Instead, the payment was withdrawn yesterday after hours, and my bank cant refund the money until the transaction clears. Im now facing the same problem: Meaningful Beauty is charging my account without my authorization, and I still cant access my account online. I love the products, but the way payments are being handled is frustrating and upsetting. Im a customer who always pays for the items I need, and this last order is one I genuinely want. This is the one thing I do for myself to care for myself, and its discouraging that youre charging me without my consent or failing to honor the date I requested. In addition to this complaint, I will be calling Meaningful Beauty again to address these ongoing issues.
