I received a quote by phone from Marty for $140 for 2 coats. He explained the cost was higher for 2 coats because I had just had a new culvert pipe & blacktop done at end of driveway. I paid by cash to his employees in an envelope before they did coats. I watched them from inside my living room window. They only did 1 coat. I tried to catch them but they did not hear me & drove away. It was end of day too. I called & a woman answered. I explaimed to her what I witnessed & that they only did 1 coat but I paid for 2 coats by cash of $140.00. She said "I will contact them & let them know." I never heard back. I left a voice message for Marty & an email. They did not respond in a timely manner. In my opinion it was due to this questioning of 2 coats not received but paid cash for 2 coats. He does not like in my opinion a complaint but this was never resolved. He texted me & said I paid by check...so not true. He even had that detail wrong. I am not a person who yells or raises her voice, I just wanted a phone conversation to resolve this paid issue of full service not received. He will not call me. I texted Marty & asked him to call me please. Even his mailed postcards for advertisements state in written proof what 1 coat is....I paid for 2 coats & did not receive that 2nd coat. My driveway looks horrible. It is pitted & holey looking. Even my neighbor agreed. He had Martys Co do his apron for same reason, after new culvert pipe & blacktop done. He got his 2 coats for paying double --- I did not.
