Both my partner and I have been seeing Dr Mary for almost 4 years, and I would say she’s probably the most experienced dentist I’ve ever seen. She clearly knows her stuff and has been practicing a long time. She’s thorough, gentle, polite, efficient, and most of all no nonsense (which I love!). I really trust her with my dental health and won’t go to see anyone else now.

Receptionist was respectful, it was the manager or whoever she put on afterwards that was so disrespectful and rude. Couldn’t answer my questions reasonably and came to the phone already frustrated, then she was insinuating that I caused the conversation to become heated?
She shut the phone in my face!!! So so disrespectful, I called back and she said she just wanted to end the conversation. Fair enough, but to shut in my face? Very rude!

I'm sorry that you had a poor experience on the phone. This is quite unusual and I have talked with the staff members involved to get both sides of the story. At this stage our practice requires that all adult patients have at least 2 doses of any TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine. We can and do see unvaccinated patients but for any unvaccinated patients we do request a negative RAT test result taken on the day prior to seeing you. This is in accordance with the advice provided by the Dental Board of Australia and the Australian Dental Association. This is in line with many healthcare facilities in New South Wales currently. This is so we can keep our staff and our patients, many of whom are extremely immunocompromised, as safe as possible. We do apologise that we cannot accomodate for you but the safety for our patients and our staff is of our utmost priority as an nationally accredited practice. We hope you have your dental concerns addressed respectfully and promptly.
Receptionist is very rude. I’m just asking questions and doesn’t even let me finish talking. I don’t even know if she understand it, she’s not fluent in english so might be language barrier.
But still, when I call, she sound very unhappy and doesn’t really care.
Was looking for a dentist near me but I guess not at this place.

Dr Andrew Ip is a very professional and experienced dentist. I had a check up, clean and fissure sealant. He was very gentle and addressed my concerns.
Dr Mary Choo is also great. She is a veteran when it comes to dentistry.
I felt safe during covid times as they seem to have air purifiers in the waiting room and ensure the room is not full.
I recommend them both and will definitely be coming back!
Had my braces done here and I love the result. Dr Andrew was very experienced and did the job professionally. Their team members were always very friendly and helpful whenever you have a question. If you are looking for a dental place in the neighbourhood, I definitely recommend them.

I had a composite filling done for my tooth which was broken. After the treatment, I informed the doctor that the side in which filling is done is too high than the other side. But she said, since the tooth is numb I may be feeling so and was sent back. Even after 2 days, there was a lot of discomfort and pain whenever I chewed food because of one side being higher. When I called them back, they presumed that I need to get a root canal done and were adamant on checking it again saying they are already booked for the entire day. After requesting repeatedly, they agreed to address the issue and leveled the filling inline with the other teeth.
Unhappy with the service and care provided and would not recommend to anyone as I still have pain even after the treatment.

Dear Reecha thanks for your honest feedback - we will gladly take it on board as part of improving our services. As mentioned in both your appointments the decay in your tooth is involving the nerve. This was also evident in the x-ray that was taken and forwarded to you at your request. This is why Dr Choo has stressed that this tooth requires root canal therapy at both your appointments. We regret that we could not fit you for your subsequent adjustment appointment within 48 hours of your initial appointment as we have been fully booked for a number of weeks now and we could only squeeze you in 2 days after your first appointment. As you have just mentioned that the filling is now level with the other teeth, but you are still experiencing pain, it sounds like your nerve is starting to play up, which is what Dr Choo predicted initially. We hope you manage to get your tooth pain sorted soon.
Dr Mary Choo is an amazing Dentist. Dr Mary has been my dentist for many years now. Like so many people my age ,I have negative feelings and fears from my childhood experiences from my then dentist. From the moment you enter the practise in Marsfiled you know you are in the best hands.

Called the clininc to get an idea about the how much they charge for a basic small filling. The chinese girl on the phone could not give any straight answer. Then asked what is the range for fillings? Starting 100, 150, 200, 5000?? And still no straight answer. Another chinese girl comes on the phone and tells that this is their policy to tell any price, you must do consultation and pay for that in order to get an idea on how much they charge for filling.. Total wastge of 10 mins of my call. Typical clinincs who will try to rob you of your money by not telling starightaway how much is the cost and end up with thousands of $$ bill. Avoid!

We are sorry you have had a negative experience with us on the phone. We do not give quotations on the phone as it is always in your own best interests and health for your teeth to be assessed in person. This is for your own safety, peace of mind and to prevent any hidden surprises. If treatment is provided on the day, we often waive any examination/consult fee. Very often patients come expecting to have a filling performed but end up needing much more as a tooth is heavily compromised. We prefer not to give "false hope" on the phone that any tooth can be saved or treated at a certain quoted price. Also certain private insurance companies have specific fee schedules which will impact the total cost immensely. Once again we are sorry you feel that way. We hope you have your teeth assessed in full and treated appropriately.
Really experienced dentists who know their stuff and have an eye for detail. Plenty of parking around and close to Macquarie Centre.
Usually anxious at dentists, this wasn't a bad experience at all. Thanks Dr Ip!

I have a really good experience at this clinic. Dr Ip takes his time to explain to me what procedure I am about to go through and it helps me to reduce my anxiety level. He does fabulous works for my teeth and treats me gently and professionally.
The staffs there are always friendly and ready to help while the clinic is clean and relaxing.
Couldn't have ask for a better dentist and dental clinic!
