Our time with Zach has far exceeded my expectations. His knowledge and process are among the best I’ve ever witnessed or heard about. He a consummate professional and I hope someday he writes the book on dog training. He’s wonderful to work with. I don’t have a single critique to make, just an amazing experience all around.

We have two dogs that have really different personalities and different issues. Within the first 10 minutes if our first lesson Zach was able to identify where they each needed individual work. This made training so much better for us as we were given the tools to get the results we were looking for very quickly. The program was exactly what we needed to help us be accountable and do the work needed to get on track. Zach was so patient and helpful, we’re so happy we went with Mango Dogs!

We love Justin at Mango Dogs !!! My 4 year old pitbull, Oaklee, started off very reactive and unable to spend much time out of the house due to her anxiety and unpredictability . After just 4 weeks with Justin she is a totally different dog! The in home classes were absolutely perfect for her and she made progress so fast! We are so excited to start group glasses and cannot recommend Justin enough!

Zach and Mango Dogs changed our lives. I’m not being dramatic when I say that, it’s 100% true. Our Great Pyrenees Lewis used to be leash reactive to so many things - dogs, birds, kids, humans, bikes, traffic. He would lunge and bark in frustration. Pretty much right away after meeting and working with Zach, Lewis started gaining confidence. The e collar training has given us a gentle and safe way to help Lewis navigate the world around him. He now walks with confidence and is so calm, all while retaining his personality. He no longer reacts to any of his previous triggers and is able to learn to be off leash safely. Truly some of the best money we have ever spent. Zach always took his time every session and we always felt valued as customers - never rushed. We do not live in a traditional home, and Zach was so flexible helping us find creative ways to train out in the world. We cannot say enough good things about Mango Dogs, ecollar training, and specifically Zach as a trainer. 5/5 stars would recommend to any person looking for help with their dog or improving pack communication.

I Never thought our Sammy (11 year old German Shepherd)would be trainable. She has always been very protective and aggressive towards everyone that wasn’t family. We’re in our 4th week training with Zack. I can confidently say she’s a changed doggy. We couldn’t be more grateful!

Prior to training Sammy could never be around strangers or other animals. She would act violently. After a month she can be around strangers and other animals. The change in Sammy is nothing short of a miracle!!!!

Wow, I would rate 100 stars for this miracle. Justin is magic. My dog attacked another dog. There was blood, the whole horrible attack. My dog has always been dog aggressive, he would act like a maniac when he saw another dog. I had to walk across the street on walks, and still, my dog would look back and want to attack. But... amazing Justin helped him and myself. I am beyond words. He can now walk next to and I mean next to another dog and he stays calm, Today my dog came up close within 3 ft of another dog face to face and nothing....I said to him "Kringle Come", he did and all is good. Shocking, he ignores other dogs, he has become a nice calm, much more relaxed dog on walks and in the house. I do not fear walking him anymore. Even people in the neighborhood have seen an amazing difference in such a short time. Just a few weeks. I feel so good and my dog and I enjoy walks now. I also believe Kringle feels happier. Justin is such a great trainer, he explains everything, I am a person who needs to know why and Justin says why we are doing an activity before I have to ask. He is an excellent trainer. Please, if you are having training issues, Justin will help you and your pup. Again, he is excellent. PS. I had 5 other trainers, and they didn't help. Even ones that were supposed to be good....nothing.

We have a sweet but very dog-reactive dog. When he actually attacked another dog we decided to get him dedicated training, picked MangoDogs, and boy are we glad. We're only about half way through the process but he's already settled down and accepted his boundary conditions. He's a much better citizen now and he seems actually happy about knowing his place. I highly recommend MD, especially Justin, who is a compassionate dog whisperer as well as a very friendly human. THANK YOU, MD!!!

Edit: modifying my rating because Moe reached out & we had an in-depth discussion & he's working with me to resolve things. Really kind and genuine guy, & I appreciate his passion for dog training, & the fact that he didn't just brush off my experience as many other business-owners would. I think Moe and all the trainers are really kind and lovely people, they are supportive, they listen, and they do try their best despite cutting corners. I paid to train my 2 dogs. It cost me $4,500 so I was expecting exceptional results. For 1 dog, the training is a weekly 1 hour session for 6 sessions. For 2 dogs, it’s the same. A weekly 1-hour session for both dogs. I asked why, since I was paying for 2 dogs, they didn’t get 2 hours. Moe told me that the training would be combined after the second session. He said that both of my dogs would be trained together within the hour timeframe. Unfortunately, that never happened. The trainer would have me take my dogs separately outside from my fifth floor apartment (just getting the second dog would take at least 6 minutes) and have me work with them individually, meaning each dog got around a half hour per week (as opposed to 1 hour that other dogs in the program received). I was instructed to walk my dogs separately to work on leash tugging and leash aggression, and this went on for several weeks. That meant I was walking my dogs six times a day, and it was draining. It also wasn’t consistent with the description of the program, in which I was told by Moe that I would have to work with each dog 10 to 20 minutes 2x per day. Moe sent the trainer to my house for an extra session, and even then, he was trying to work with my dogs separately. I really had to insist that he show me how to walk my dogs together while working on Sparky’s leash pulling, and I had to ask several times before he finally showed me a way to walk/train my dogs together. One of my dogs did benefit from the ecollar training, though my other dog is kind of immune to the E collar. The trainer eventually gave me a pinch collar, though that doesn’t really help much either. Sparky continues to pull on his leash. I just purchased a gentle lead collar, and that has helped a good deal. I went to a few of the weekly group trainings, but the trainers weren’t helping me when my dog Sparky was pulling and dragging me, and I’m honestly really burnt out from this program. It was much more time consuming than I was informed, and that was extremely stressful/exhausting. There were many other ways that my time was wasted. At the consult with Moe, I was told to start feeding my dogs in irregular places, like outside or on the balcony, but this was never integrated into the training when the trainer came. So I stopped and wondered why I was wasting another 30 minutes of my day doing that in the first place. I just feel like Moe and his trainers aren’t on the same page, and that’s going to have a negative impact on the customers. They shouldn’t have pressured me into enrolling and paying for two dogs when each dog only gets half the time/attention that I paid for. I was asked to leave a review for this program once my dogs “graduated” from the weekly individual training at my home. I wasn’t comfortable doing so, because my dogs were behaving terribly even that day, with Sparky pulling and my other dog (Baz) nipping at another dog outside. I just thought it was ludicrous that they would ask for review after witnessing Baz attack another dog. It felt like gaslighting or something. I’ve come to realize that a lot of people leave feel pressured to leave five star reviews because they don’t want to be the first person to not leave at five star review. Additionally, people would feel awkward or unwelcome at the weekly group training, which goes on for a year after the program. I’m really regretful of this training. I thought the amazingly positive reviews justified the amount I paid and the trust I put in this organization, but I was duped. I was expecting perfectly behaved dogs out of this, but I was wrong on that as well.

My two toy poodles were not well behaved. I questioned why I thought it was a brilliant idea to have two dogs. I can confidently say that Greta & Lionel are changed toy poodles. Putting the work in that Lou taught me once a week was a game changer. I highly recommend that you take the leap and get your fur babies adjusted to how living should be with their humans.

We had a 2 Great Danes and mini berenedoodle that were just terrible on leash walks. The would bark and and jump if they saw a dog or person. Now they are sweet baby angels. It’s night and day. Would highly recommend. Plus, they’re there in the future if they fall back on some bad habits.

Lou was so great and a perfect match for our Arlo! Arlo was reactive/aggressive toward other dogs and sometimes people if caught off guard. I was literately traumatized after going on walks. I knew Arlo needed intervention, especially if we wanted to add a future second dog to our family. Arlo graduated in 4 weeks of private lessons, has been super receptive, and a quick learner. We look forward to group classes!

Justin was amazing to work with and really helped my wife and I manage our 3 dogs. We had multiple challenges with them, from going ballistic when there was a knock on the door or a dog on a leash near by, to not coming when called. The tools we learned and the training the dogs received has made a night and day difference! It is so nice not worrying about them bolting out the front door, or having to physically drag them inside from the back yard. Walking all 3 is so much easier now. 10/10 would recommend Mango Dogs if you want a well behaved dogs, or if you have multiple that need a little help being better.

We had Jared from Mango dogs come over and work with Jax and Kevin. The main goal was to reduce Kevin’s barking in and out of the house. Kevin has been much better behaved since then. He has reduced his barking and listens to his commands. Mango Dogs was worth the investment into the dogs and seeing their progress has been rewarding. We would recommend Mango Dogs to anyone looking to help their dogs.

Justin is one of a kind human and a one-of-a-kind trainer! He helped me right away with my Bernese Mountain puppy… With a dog that’s going to get so big, it’s good to have someone like Justin come in and help steer her in the right direction right away. We are becoming masters of “place”, “come” and all the other basics! The one on one sessions are fantastic, I highly recommend! I look forward to our weekly classes with Justin and the other pups and can’t wait to see what a well trained dog my pup grows in to!

We have 2yo & 3yo golden retrievers and were having trouble with unreliable recall, especially in stimulating environments, and one of them had reactivity to other dogs. We worked with Zach and within 4 lessons we felt much more confident in our ability to take them out to crowded parks. Bonus is that we also worked on house and yard manners and now don’t have to constantly watch them when they are alone in our back yard! Looking forward to continuing to learn at group classes.

Autumn is a very energetic GoldenDoodle, always wants to play and show everyone love (jumping, follow your every move and excessive barking), since training Autumn has definitely learned a lot from the training from off leash walking, excessive barking has been minimal and jumping on everybody comes and goes (we still have work to do). I would recommend Mango Dogs Carolinas, Jared was absolutely phenomenal.

We can’t recommend Mango Dogs enough! We were having reactivity issues with our 2 year old corgi and with a baby on the way we knew we needed to fix them. Within 4 weeks we saw a total change in our dog in his manners at home and now we feel comfortable taking him on walks again. We are so happy with the positive changes and can’t wait to keep working with him!

Mango Dogs has changed our dog! Before we found them, our dog was reactive around people in the home, constantly howling and nervous. On walks, he’d react to other dogs, so we’d have to avoid them altogether. We’ve seen so much change in him since working with Jared! Jared was so attentive to our needs and specific issues with our dog and addressed them all with us in the 4 weeks of training. We’re so excited to continue training with group classes and enjoy a better and less stressful life with our pup!
