I recently called The Maltings Surgery to inquire about travel vaccinations and had a very disappointing experience. The receptionist informed me that, since I wasn’t registered as a patient, they wouldn’t help me. When I asked if transferring to their clinic would entitle me to the NHS vaccination service, the receptionist remarked dismissively that I shouldn’t switch clinics just for a travel vaccination, entirely ignoring my actual question. Throughout the conversation, the receptionist seemed eager to end the call immediately after speaking, even though I still had further inquiries. This left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a potential patient. I hope the clinic reconsiders how they approach patient inquiries in the future, as my experience was far from satisfactory.

The practice level of service has improved significantly and now feels more like a private practice with the organisation and care given. The online triage system gives you a response within a day vs the 8 am telephone nightmare. My Doctor Athtavan has given me attentive care and communication is great. I have also had quick access to physio Saif who also have a great level of care. The support and help from the admin team is also first class.

went in to have my pap smear and super thankful for how kind the nurse (lauren!) was with me. she was very patient, gentle & kind! pls get your pap smears ladies! super important. thank you!!

Dr Maarji saw us an hour after I contacted the surgery. The service from the Maltings is excellent now, and Dr Maarji was very professional and friendly.

Doctor Alwitry has been invaluable, knowledgeable and empathetic over the last few months. Even the tone of her voice is soothing. I have the upmost respect for this lady I would give her infinite stars if I could. Not all cut from the same cloth at the surgery especially one of the couldn't care less receptionists but there are alot of good eggs at this surgery including reception staff. The econsult works really well too

The online system at the Maltings surgery works really well. You get a response very quickly and a same day appointment if needed. Much better than queuing on the phone at 8am!

Very much improved service since three years ago when I would have given 2 stars. In those bad old days there was typically a 2 week wait (or all day in the waiting room) for appointments. This time I filled in the online request (simple to use) and got a call back from an especially knowledgeable and helpful doctor within an hour, a relaxed but thorough screening chat, and the referral I needed in 48 hours.

Incredibly well organised now. Within an hour of filling in a form online I had an appointment, that day. I then had a blood test organised. I received a text telling me when I would be called to discuss the results. Things could not have run smoother. The bad press about GP services did not apply here.

First Class Healthcare. Requested random blood test and had paperwork and test completed within 48hrs. Results available within app 5 days later. Requested consult to discuss areas of concern, spoke to Dr Panja ( excellent) and designed a course of action. Dr followed up with treatment plan as agreed. Can not rate highly enough.

I am extremely grateful to Dr Maarij for the exceptional care and support I received during my recent visit to the surgery. He quickly diagnosed my condition and provided a clear and effective treatment plan. I recommend Dr Maarij to anyone in need of a caring and knowledgeable GP

I honestly cannot rate The Maltings surgery and Dr. Michael Cipparonne enough. The online system is very easy to navigate and a phone consultation is usually offered within the same day. Dr Cipparonne was very thorough in his examination, listened to all of my concerns and ordered additional tests to get to the bottom of the issue. He then followed up to inform me of the results and make sure that I was feeling better. The secretaries are great too as I got my referral letter within minutes of leaving the surgery.

Doctor was very helpful, checked me out, listened to my concerns and explained my options. Recommend

Service is first class : 99% Response to on line queries dealt with almost immediately, Good understanding when dealing with follow up from hospital consultants. Repeat prescriptions done within 2-3 days Most test results readily available on patient access. 1% missing is continuity of access to same GP especially on days off and when Duty Doctor is not someone you normally see but difficult to see a solution.
